I know what you mean about being invisible. I think my relatives would be "amazed" to know I feel that way! When was the last time anyone phoned you? Came for tea? sad to say. Unfortunately it is up to us to call and reach out to them but you feel like you are just being nosy!! Big hugs

Ive found keeping on top of housework gets easier as you continue decluttering. Theres less stuff to get out of place, so it becomes quicker and quicker. I had to go back through the same areas again and again as i found rooms I'd done became recluttered with things I had moved from other places. Keep on going, you will get there.
Hello emma 👋 you dont need less books, you need a bigger bookcase 📚 a library in fact... . 4th bedroom idea 💡 if you love books you love books. you need more bookcases is all. Your daughter is going to bring many more books in through high school. Make your home work for you and this will make your life easier. Just a suggestion not to press down too hard on your bedroom drawers (or any drawers actually) when squashing in all your clothes 😂 Perhaps thats how your hubbies drawer broke - too much weight on the tracks. you are storing a lot of stuff in your bedroom stroage spaces that shouldnt be stored in your room. Holiday decor etc. should go in the shed. 🙈 ... Eeek ! And then have more room in your bedroom to store yours and hubbies clothes. Making putting the laundry away easier. Make life easier. One of the hardest parts of decluttering is actually getting the stuff out the house 🏡 my advice for you is to keep up with the selling of items you want to sell, running donations, doing the car boot sale etc dont let it pile up in that guest bedroom 🫣 You are doing so frigging well. Your daughters room is any little girls dream bedroom. How excited she must have been to have a fresh and clear space 💕 well done mamma, you did that 👏 is she enjoying it? I think the approach of getting one room done worked really well. And may be a great approach for the playroom... New library/study/craft multi purpose room. Actually if i was you lol, i would downsize my guest bedroom to fit into the smallest 4th bedroom. And use the old main bedroom (the current guest room) as the library/craftroom/study/music multi purpose room 🎵 Great job in getting rid of more out the kitchen cupboards too! You are doing it. Recently I've heard great advice: money was spend the second you paid for the item, it's gone already, you're not any richer by keeping stuff you don't use or want and it doesn't make you any poorer if you get rid of it.
The way I keep my house clean is,I have a room or area I thoroughly clean every day. For example,Tuesday is bathrooms and hallways,Monday is kitchen and dining rooms, Wednesday living room,etc. I make sure I straighten each room everyday. That way it stays clean and neat. Of course there is daily stuff,dishes,laundry,etc. it’s the only thing that works for me. Letting every room be and cleaning the whole house in one day is too much. The good thing about this system is deep cleaning a room takes me about 20-30 minutes.
@janetsides901 I do the same but not everyday. Just when I have the energy. I pick one room and deep clean it.... but I do a lot of laundry every day ad have airbnb rooms.

Fun chore for you daughter in front of the TV: take an under bed drawer, one at a time, and roll all the clothes as it takes up so much less room. Old stewardess trick
Empty the bedroom drawers at the head end and put out of season clothing in here. I have annottoman in my bedroom just for my bedding just for my own bed.
Hi Emma ! Remember I told you my parents were down sizing ? There going from what was a large family home ( Built by my Dad ) with large gardens , to a bungalow. It’s going to be so much easier for them . We decided to have one of their lovely lounge chairs , we had been thinking about getting one for the corner of our lounge anyway so win win , recycled to our home ! Is my Dads chair so whenever I’m sat all cosy I will always think of my Dad 🥰. I tell you this story as like me you seem to be a sentimental soul too . Keep up the work Emma ! Sending love 🍁🌻🍁🌻🍁🌻

Sorry if I don’t respond quickly to any videos , my daughter was admitted to hospital and had to have an emergency operation. Most definately... sll over your house and sheds garages etc. If you've found something you don't even like... why give it a place in your precious home areas. Just donate it so someone else can have it. Xxx

I am managing to keep little bits down now though with the meds so that's most important but I just can't move around without carrying a bowl with me. Back in 1962 when my Mum was pregnant with me, she had really bad morning sickness and she was prescribed Thalidomide. For some reason she decided not to take it, thank goodness. It was such a terrible medication and I feel so sorry for the people whose Mums took it. So very sad. 😢
Yes those Mums just followed what they were told and thought they were doing the right thing. We must never forget this and how science is not always right.
Once you have a date for your sale, make sure you get the word out on socials etc. The more folk that turn up the more chance you have of selling xx👍🏠🚗
HG ... HyperEmesis Gravidarum, omgoodness that poor woman. 😢😢😢 That bring back Horrendous memories for myself. I unfortunately had that with all 3 of my pregnancies all the way til I delivered each of my babies.👶 Unfortunately, I did not get any support from my In laws side of the family. It is seriously like having the stomach flu for 9 mos times, 3 pregnancies. God helps you forget how horrible you can feel, but thankfully there is a beautiful baby in the end of the journey 🎉🎉🎉
@gettingtidy2495 yes, it is sooooo true! It is the worst nausea and actually vomiting 24.7 hrs. There is absolutely no relief, I ran to the bathroom anywhere from 20 mins to 40 mins around the clock vomiting which is extremely dangerous of dehydration. Thankfully having a medical background, I knew just stay as hydrated as possible. I couldn't keep food in. Water tasted metallic, so I had to dilute apple juice where it just barely taste like water bc I didn't want all that sugar. The smell of meat 🤢 let's just say you are on a boat with constant waves hitting literally and symbolically too.

The baskets have helped me and the baskets also look nice. I'm really pleased I need another trip to IKEA to get another basket!
