fr I had no idea how hated they were until I went to reddit the first time at 15 years old approximately. Then I watched them in English for the first time and got it, but since I knew the memes by then, it was just hilarious
@@TheMainelson Same, back then I was a kid and people around me loved prequels (including young adults). I didn't have any idea of the hate. Years later I found hate comments on the internet and I was shocked.
I saw episodes 2 and 3 in the theater at midnight with my parents, who both grew up with the originals. I always remembered hearing whispers of people not liking them, but I absolutely could not have cared less about what other people thought when I was a child. I wonder if people who’s parents weren’t also into Star Wars had a different experience.
I really don’t understand the hate for the prequels. These took their contempt way too far and was sometimes way uncalled for. I mean the way some treated Moses Ingram.
What is wrong with their minds!? They’re are races and colors al over Star Wars from the very beginning!
I just enjoyed because of my love for Star Wars. I’m glad that they are getting the recognition they deserve.

Finally they know that our generation loved the prequel. So glad they are getting the love they deserve. It makes me so happy and it’s so surreal this show is even happening! My love for Star Wars led me to start a Star Wars Design Podcast with a good mate of mine, the Star Wars universe means so much to us.
I started my Star Wars Journey with Episode 1, and Anakin Skywalker in Episode 3 is my favourite character in Star Wars. I was always so devastated by his fall to the dark side, and however much I'm sad we won't see Anakin as he was, I'm so glad to see Ewan and Hayden back.

I was devastated and I knew how it ended since I watched the originals in 90s when they were remastered but it still hurt. I cry every time in that last scene of Revenge Of The Sith.

Episode III is the best in the entire series
it would not feel right if it had been anyone else other than Hayden who got to play a post Revenge of the Sith Anakin/Vader. He already gave us Anakin, now he gets to give us what Vader, the man behind the mask, was truly like.
Would love to see Hayden and Ewan in more of these projects. Im especially happy for Hayden because many were very harsh on him for the prequels. Personally, I loved how he shaped, moulded, and executed Anakin and Darth Vader. He was superb, no doubt about it. George Lucas had a keen eye and insight with Hayden. Best move ever. Thank you George Lucas and thank you Hayden!
Revenge of the Sith still is, and always will be, one of my favorite movies. I love THAT film.

I remember watching Revenge of the Sith as a kid, and being on the verge of tears for the majority of the film…. Because I knew Anakin would become Vader. Hayden did an amazing job of expressing the pain inside Anakin, ultimately being motivated by the fear of losing his loved ones. I’m so excited about this return!!!

@@canelaswift952 Hayden meant the part of the saga that ended with Anakin becoming Vader. That sense of finality, the end of the first trilogy (chronologically speaking).
@@seymssogood i think hayden also meant a finality to him portraying anikan / vader - in part due to the poor media perception at the time. that’s why it hurt to hear. it felt like hayden said he felt like his entire career was done. which i hope, with the positive reception to kenobi, that hayden’s career is far from over (if he wants that)

SO SO great to see Ewan and Hayden back in Star Wars! I'm from the generation who saw the original trilogy as a small child, but I loved their work together. AOTC and ROTS are my favourites. I still quote famous lines in my general life - especially "Hello there" and, when I've parked rather badly "Another happy landing." LOL

As someone who ALWAYS loved the prequel trilogy, I for one am THRILLED to see Hayden and Ewan back together again! This has been a long time coming. Definitely hyped for Obi-Wan Kenobi!! I have high hopes for the show. I hope Disney gets it right!
I'm from the first star wars era. I was 12 years old when I saw it. I have seen ALL of them including the prequel. So has my family and my 4 kids, now adults. We LOVE all of them INCLUDING the prequel, which was highly anticipated and we were ecstatic to see them. It used to piss me off to hear complainers doing what they do best. the general public WILL watch no matter what if they REALLY want to. This remains a MUCH loved franchise which Ewan and Hayden will forever be a part of, and we loved them in it( one of my daughters STILL has a major crush on Hayden 🤗).
Hayden was my hero as a kid, every kid wanted to be Anakin, have a Jedi come down and take you off on an adventure and become a Jedi too. To go on his journey through Ep 2 and 3 to see his character convert to evil, so good.
Hayden has referenced talking about knowing the character very well, exciting to go back to this/these characters. Yes that could very well man Vader.
I believe we are going to get the clone wars flashbacks, as speculated. I sure hope so. Vader VS Obi is awesome and welcome.

My daughter squeaked with excitement and joy watching the new series, and shed some tears too. I believe it means there is the Force in the story still.
I liked Mr Christensen in the prequels, and could not understand the fuss about Anakin. He was meant to be a tragic character since the beginning.

man the first movie for me was the revenge of the sith... personally my all time favorite, I was a new SW fan and that movie made a difference... now on the 3rd season of rebels after clone wars and the bad batch I can't express the emotion of seeing them back just in a few days! we are really lucky, we have to enjoy this moment.

I was 8 when star wars new hope came out loved the originals when the prequels came out took my kids to see “We loved all of them” all the negative people were louder than the majority. Ewan & Hayden were awesome glad we get more of these 2 magnificent actors!

@@drip671 how? They guy just didn't enjoy the prequels at the time. Following up a perfect trilogy is tough to do, the prequels had very high expectations at the time. Prequels are good but they aren't near as good as the originals. Especially with the story and dialogue being much better in the originals

My fellow prequel fans.... no longer do we have to hide in denial, not that I ever did, but I could understand if others did. But at last our beloved prequels are becoming relevant and loved again. I'm just glad I NEVER turned my back on them.

4:35 she's so sweet... And then you see her brutality like an Amazon warrior! She is perfect because when you hear her scream "you can't escape him!" The tone is perfect. Fearsome, and a tinge of "I fear Lord Vader too!"
she also mentioned her character is passionate and that she was never much of a star wars fan! This is wonderfull because the whole code of the sith is based on that!

Their Star Wars movies are the ones I saw the most growing up. We owned all of the prequels and OT on DVD but the TPM came out the same year I was born and the others in such an early point in my life that they are the ones I clung to as a child. They are still my favorites and I’m so happy to see these guys come back. I owe them a huge debt for making my childhood pretty damn magical.

It isn't possible to say in simple words how INCREDIBLE it is to me to see this new insert into the world of star wars. I saw first film in cinema and was SO blown away by the concept, the effects- which were ground breaking of course - the REALITY of that universe. Never forgotten, never not loved from then on. Like most fans, never want it to end.
Fir me only sad thing is the romance between Anakin and Padame was so brief! Wish there had been more time for them to just be in love before it all went wrong!
I'm in a weird spot where I grew up from a child till 13 yrs old with the Original Trilogy either on TV or VHS and then the resurgence of excitement over the franchise and hype initially surrounding the Special Edition releases in 1997, then in 99 new ones came out, and I sort of "grew up" with those too. I'm in that strange middle spot where both are nostalgic for me.
Same. I was 10 when I discovered Star War OT and watched them when they would come on TV. I would obsess over them and watch them intently. I never owned them because nobody else really got it in my household when I was that young. Then Actually grew up with the prequels in theaters And my little brothers were the perfect age for the prequel’s. So the prequel just cemented my love for Star Wars. I will always have more of a soft spot for OT, but I have always absolutely loved the prequels and ALL of Clone Wars and Rebels!

It was always strange to me the hate Prequels received, namely Hayden. He was one of my favourite if not favourite characters in those movies. Maybe because I was the right age, but I think he did a great job.
