Heard the pepsi max big one could lose its title to a new roller-coaster starting production this summer in Thorpe Park? Still love the big one tho especially sitting at the back and at night
AlunDay1991 hiya not sure exactly of its original origins. I got this short documentary coz it was on a VHS called 'The Year of the Rollercoaster' bought from Blackpool in the Big One gift a shop by the ride in 1994. The VHS was produced by someone called Clapper Board Productions and the quality of production of the video was awful! This short documentary was the best thing on it! But my hunch is that this short documentary was produced independently by someone else, but Clapper Board Productions just got hold of it and used it as part of their VHS. I only think that because on the same 'Year Of the rollercoaster' VHS, there is footage of some kind of Rollercoaster convention, and you can hear the narration of this documentary in the background at the Blackpool/ Pepsi Max Big One exhibition booth where there was a model of the rollercoaster. I'll have to now look up this documentary that you've mentioned called 'vertical reality' and see if it's part of that then! Thanks for commenting! ☺

I can’t find a lot of info on Vertical Reality, I remember seeing it in a shop on Ocean Boulevard years ago, the shop keeper told me not to buy it because it was short in length and only focused on The Big One, whereas The Experience focuses on the park as a whole, so I bought that! Thanks again.
Jingle YaBombz would be good! And yep there is a good one for Kingda Ka... look for megastructures documentary possibly on RUclips! The difference between the two is that one was built in 1994 and the other 2005, plus one is UK and the other is USA! Thanks for watching though! ☺

Master Knife good question! And I'd guess the answer was £££! 😉 Even places like Epcot centre have always had ride and pavilion sponsorship, but you're right there was a lot of it on the 90s! Particularly at Blackpool. Even Revolution got in on the action (iron bru ) Have things quietened down now with sponsorship there?...

@@alunday1991 It's about half of the Vertical Reality VHS tape. The original showed the opening ceremony, firework display etc
