    • @infantrywagon
      @infantrywagon 3 года назад

      There was a bad batch that had came out at one point. You most likely got two out of that batch if you picked two up at the same time. If two at different times it could be user error as you see with him he uses it quite a bit and still
      Failed on the bud light can at first. Either way there’s the draft top 2.0 out, but a can. Opener does the exact same thing. On the 2.0 Still have to grab the top out of the can after. Idk why they haven’t made an update on the new one that allows the top to come off with the tool after it cuts the lid free from the can. At least they could have made a hook to where you can open the can prior to opening it, cut the top off and have some type of lip on the tool that goes into the mouth opening and allows you to pull it out that way, or grab the tab and remove without getting Your hands wet. The reason I’m so invested in something like this is I drink the 450 north and other good brand slushy beers. You can drink them normal or hence the “slushy” name, you can toss them into a freezer for 20-30 minutes and it’s made or turn into an actual slushy. You should see what the can looks like after the purple
      Have gotten the slushy out of the can through the small hole. If they didn’t get frustrated within the first minute and just cut the can apart with a knife a scissors 😂

    Thats more than a 90 degree twist, and I'd argue that "tool" to remove it isn't much of a tool. Poking the filthy lid into my drink? Sticking a dirty tool and or fingers into my drink? Check for "possible shavings"? This thing is an all around fail in my book.

    • @chris
      @chris  4 года назад +4

      Like I said in the video, it just depends on the can, the amount of pressure, etc. Some cans open up a lot quicker as seen in the video.
      As for your "filthy lid" comment, most people put their lips right up to a can without wiping it or cleaning it whatsoever, so what really is the difference? You can also pull the tab before using the tool so there's a minimal dunking of the top when you peel it up instead of pushing it down.
      Yes, the "possible shavings" is just a precaution (kind of like McDonalds telling people that their coffee is hot), but as I noted in the video--I've never seen one and I doubt I ever will.
      Overall it's an excellent tool, and no--I'm not paid to say that. I just think it's pretty f'n awesome and I will continue to use it all the time.
      Not a fail in my book! Thanks for watching 👍

    Terrible Idea.!!! Who wants the whole aluminum "lid" floating & sinking into the can of drink.?? Yuck.!!! Then, if ya want the lid "out of your drink", then you have to stick your fingers into your drink to TRY to pull it out easily. YUCK Again.!!
