I think Gladiolus is positively gorgeous. My problem is that it's my teacher's favorite rag. So if I started to learn it, I would never be able to perform it to his satisfaction ! One day I will be brave enough to go there.
Is it harder than Maple Leaf Rag? I just finished Maple Leaf Rag, and the Searchlight Rag is my favorite so I'd like to learn it, but I'm afraid it's too hard.
Maple leaf took the most practice by far but that's because i was a beginner. Id say this is noticeably harder at faster tempo, took me longer than other rags despite being more experienced

Thank you. It is a Fandrich Piano Company U-122. It is a really unique piano but the company only made around 100 pianos before closing up shop.
