Making a set of Large Corbels

We recently needed some large, chunky corbels for a range hood project (video forthcoming) and after some searching decided we needed to make our own to get the size we wanted. Thought I'd share our process.

Question: Do you buy those large poplar boards pre glued together like that or did you glue them yourself off camera before you started here? And if you did buy them, then where do you buy your pre glued boards like that? Thanks!
