I am a retired Hospitalist physician and a lifelong asthmatic and for past 5 years have had COPD as well. I have been on one of the combo steroid/beta agonist inhalers for over 15 years and need nebulizers several times a week. I started daily NAC several months ago and stopped needing my rescue inhaler and nebs, then I stopped my combo budesonide/fomotoral and I remained clear with a less of a cough. and increased exercise tolerance. I could sleep at night without battling my wheeze. Stopping the inhaler is not anything I would recommend to any patient, but apparently much of my asthma is secondary to chronic inflammation of my airways. As an MD, this med as mucomyst was something I only used for acetaminophen overdoses. Its underutilization in pulmonary medicine is likely due to being too cheap to make a profit off of. I wonder if my pulmonologist will believe me, but asthma is a not very subtle disease and you are always aware of your breathing and for me the improvement was dramatic.

And, NAC was first in my list. So, I run to my usual health store looking for it. To my surprise, it was not there. I asked the pharmacist and he led me to the same spot only to find out it was not there. He apologized and suggested to comeback the following week. Then, went to other stores - not there either. Came back following week to the original store, it didn't show up. Then, I got suspicious and dug deeper...so dig deeper! They had no reason to pull it out of shelves unless....

From my understanding, NAC is converted into the glutathione and is also much cheaper! That is about it that I found, but I would recommend you do your own research to confirm! --If you do, please share any info back here so I can learn too! ;)

Same reason they banned hydroxychloroquine. If a product helps effectively fight covid, it is banned so the jab can be the only option. Evil pure and simple.

Thank you Doctor for putting this info out there. I have COPD, believe I had covid last year but not sure due to always having complications with COPD. I received the double jab and seem to be ok, but feel it has complicated my COPD. I am also diagnosed with Allergic Asthma with allergies, so this complicates things even further. I am beginning the use of NAC as of this comment and hope it improves my conditions. Also have PAD so hopefully will help in that. Thank You. So glad I found you on YT.

@@53SniwtInhalers are steroids and not good and u become dependent on them, but do whatever works. Nebulizers actually heal when put above ingredients in. Drs won’t tell us this bc they want u dependant on pharmaceutical industry and meds. Mother Nature does a better job than chemicals. Hydrogen peroxide is great also.

@@annemaster5254 that’s wrong information to give to someone with COPD and asthma. Most the time our biggest fear is dying from not being able to breathe. The steroids in some of the inhalers help preventing COVID.
