An expansive heat wave continues to intensify across the United States this week. This heat wave will bring temperatures well into the 90s and triple digits for MILLIONS of people this week! Additional rounds of severe thunderstorms are expected across the Northern United States throughout the week as well. Damaging winds, large hail, and tornadoes will be possible. Tropical Storm Alberto is likely to develop across Coastal Texas and Coastal Mexico over the next 24 to 48 hours. This storm will bring multiple inches of rain in the days ahead. Happy Tuesday, June 18th everyone! I hope everyone is enjoying their week so far. An expansive heat wave is expected to intensify across much of the United States this week, which includes temperatures well into the 90s and triple digits! Additional rounds of severe thunderstorms can be expected throughout the week, mainly across the Northern United States. Also, Tropical Storm Alberto is likely to develop across Coastal Texas and the East Coast of Mexico over the next 24 to 48 hours!

very humid and hot here in Rockford, hoping for a cooling severe storm
A cold front will move through Rockford, Illinois on Saturday evening and then again next week. Severe thunderstorms will be possible as both cold fronts move through. Damaging winds over 60 mph would be most likely with any severe thunderstorms that are able to develop in this weather pattern. I’ll keep you updated. Thanks for watching!

I have my doubts now on severe weather this weekend. But we will still get pop up storms in northern Ohio.
The weather pattern may support some severe weather into the last week of June (next week… Monday through Wednesday or Thursday time frame) across the Midwest, Great Lakes, and Ohio Valley. I’ll keep you updated.

Northeast Ohio never gets any severe weather organized at least anymore😢
I love the heat but not all this humidity. my son is a distance runner in college and he has a crazy running schedule. Ive been biking with him on his runs. Today we only had to go 7 miles and it was so much worse than our 11 miles yesterday. The humidity was so bad and this was before 7:30am. Yuck! I want to go back to waking up with it in the low 60s. 😂😂
Fall will be here before you know it.
