I have made this quilt for Halloween , so fun to make. When using the ruler you can put tape at the 5 inch mark. Makes it so easy to see so there are no cutting errors. Great job illustrating the video.
I have noticed that the patterns using a strip tube ruler don’t ever use the whole width of the tube. Is there a reason for this? I understand that there would be a couple stitches at the point that could be carefully ripped open. Not using the whole tube seems wasteful to me because you are always compensating for the space between each cut piece.
Good noticing... I'm not really sure why. But I do agree that it would be easy to remove those few stitches and allow for a slightly bigger block. Thank you for watching.
I have both of the strip tube rulers and love them for squaring up HST without opening them up and pressing first. Thanks for your videos
I have never watched anyone flipping over the last strip. Brilliant.
I use this ruler for squaring up my half square triangles too. It’s my favorite
Your quilt looks beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!

What a great suggestion! Thank you so much for watching and sharing!
Could you use a Wondercut ruler? Thank you for showing this technique & beautiful quilt! I want to try this!
Probably yes, I haven't tried the Wondercut ruler yet, but I think it would work for tube quilting.
