You said your books are arranged wherever they can fit. I think this is a hallmark of larger collections. There just simply isn’t enough room to lay it out and alphabetically by title makes no sense at all.
86 was a surprise for me. Not the manga, but the anime. I've watched one too many animes on crunchyroll and was just looking for something. 86 is action packed, full of emotion, and pretty darn good. The anime si in my top 5-10 all time. I have all 3 manga volumes...waiting for more.
Evangelion is my top 3 manga, and Fruits Basket was a surprise last year and instantly became one of my favourite manga ever. Also, I am so glad that we are FINALLY getting Yona in Mexico. Hoping for Twilight Princess 🙏 Great collection 👍
That collection is awesome. I’ve been collecting mangas for six years, and even much, much longer because I started getting them for the first time in 2011 when a friend gave me a Naruto manga. As far as my collection now, I have all of Naruto, all the current volumes of Boruto, all of Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, all the current omnibuses of One Piece, a few volumes of Bleach, all of Yu Yu Hakusho, all the currently made volumes of Hunter x Hunter, every single Yu-Gi-Oh! volume as well as all the spin-off mangas of it, I’m working on finishing Rurouni Kenshin, I have all the current ones for My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man, all of Dr. Stone, Food Wars, Assassination Classroom, Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland, some of Jujutsu Kaisen, Slam Dunk, Haikyu, D.Gray-Man, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Kaiju No. 8, Shaman King, Toriko, Gintama, Blue Exorcist, Undead Unluck, all of the current volumes of Black Clover, all of Death Note, the first volumes of all the JoJo parts so far, some of Inuyasha and Yashahime, some of Black Lagoon, all of Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins, as well as all the Colossal Editions of Attack On Titan and all the Deluxe Editions of Berserk. I’m hoping to get a box set for Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul: Re. A good amount of these were hard to get since some weren’t sold where I am, I had to order some series from America like Yu Yu Hakusho, Shaman King, Toriko and Gintama. I like to have all my Shonen Jump mangas together and I personally prefer getting omnibus versions of manga so a lot of the ones I listed are in 3 in 1 omnibus editions. I wish a lot more had omnibuses, but I’m still super happy with my collection and can’t wait to get more.
I’ve been wanting to get into more romance manga so thanks for showing all the ones you collected ! I’m jealous of your blood blockade battlefront 😩😩 and you kinda inspired me to get more guidebooks and art books ☺️💗
I had no idea you had collected so many volumes. I suppose it’s your setup that gave me the impression that your collection was smaller. Very cool to see it all. Kakegurui Compulsive and Kakegurui Twin were both impulse buys for me, but I ended up loving it and have all of the volumes for both so far. I can’t recommend the Monogatari novels enough (20 in total I believe) as they are packed with wonderfully memorable characters, great adventures, and spectacular dialogue. The manga of Bakemonogatari is also stellar (20 volumes released to date, I believe it finishes at 22). It was great seeing the first volume of Tsubaki-Chou. I hope you enjoy it. I’ve already said what a fan I am of the mangaka and her works, so I’ll leave it at that. As for a recommendation, I would say Chio’s School Road. It’s a 9 volume series that is laugh out loud funny. It follows the titular Chio and the difficulties she experiences (mostly) on her way to school because of her obsession with gaming and her wandering mind.
Yeah my prior background setup just had two bookcases in the shot for my videos, so definitely understandable. I want to do a room tour video in the future for a better perspective on everything as a whole 😁 I'll add the Monogatari novels (and the Bakemonogatari manga) and Chio's School Road to my TBR list for sure. And big thanks to you for the recommendation on Tsubaki-Chou! I'm really enjoying it.
Thanks for sharing your manga collection, Collector Bee. I really appreciate the organization and thoroughness👍 I’m glad you pointed out the Laid back camp figure, I noticed it behind you in a previous video and wanted to take a closer look at it but I didn’t know what it was. I love when figures/statues have unconventional poses like that. I was surprised to see manga versions of the Jane Austen books, I really like the BBC miniseries of Pride and Prejudice from the 90’s. Anyway, always enjoy watching your videos, hope you’re having a nice lead up to the holidays.
Oh wow the BBC miniseries of Pride and Predjudice is my favorite adaptation of the story! I love that you mentioned it! And isn't the Rin (Laid Back Camp) figure cool? I'm with you on the unconventional pose figures. Rin has all these adorable camping equipment items on the table beside her while she's cozy in her camping chair. It's one of my favorites. Anyway, thanks as always for watching! Hope you're doing well too!
I have the DVD set, a bit of an oddity in my collection. My favorite character is Lizzy’s Dad. He’s hilarious, just begrudgingly along for the ride rolling his eyes the whole way lol.@@CollectorBee
I just found you and I’m so happy I love the black bookcases , this really solidified getting them instead of white since I’m making a dark academia atelier vibe. Looking forward to check out more of your content.
Just found your channel. Very nice collection. Some awesome books there. I also just wanted you to be aware. Just in case. At 40.47 something moves on the bottom shelf when you moved your book. Just so you are aware. I had to rewind like 4 times to make sure it is what I seen.
Good luck with finding the rest of Rave Master. It is very hard to find from my own research and goes for a lot of money. One listing I found had the whole series, 1-35, for about $2,000. I am getting the series digitally since it is so hard to find.
Whatching you collection and seeing series that are still ongoing but you do still collect or some where you have 20+ volumes finished series....a question poped up, maybe it can be a video for your channel as well🤷♀️: How do you choose Manga that you comit and collect? Even when not knowing how long the series is going to be? Or do you drop a series? So the one being seen on your shelves are currated after some have been un-hailed? I mean Yona of the Dawn has no end in sight, right? I am having a dilema with myself about collecting to many series and than some other stragles like space... Thank you.
Good question! Let’s see, well I suppose I don’t let the length of a series deter me from collecting/reading it. If I like a manga series, I’ll get more of it. I tend to try a few volumes of an interesting-sounding series to start and then go from there. And if I get to a point where I’m no longer enjoying a series (or don’t want the series in my collection anymore) I unhaul it. I don’t want to keep it around just because. I’d rather that space go to a better series. Do what makes you happy (within reason!) At some point, a lack of space becomes a problem for anyone really, and that’s a good time to re-evaluate your collection and see if there’s a series you can part with. If not, get creative with how you store your manga 😁 Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
Holy Moly! that pandora box is so luxurious!!! omg cardcaptor and nana next to each other two of my faves~ also love Ouran~ Haruhi best girl of all time for me~ wish she learned mad martial arts from honey senpai she would have been even more badass I would recommend Bofuri its slice of life and the manga and anime have slight differences that actually make it fun to look at from both perspectives
Hehe the Pandora Box is definitely impressive. I looked up Bofuri and it looks super fun! Thanks! 😁 I love your comment on Haruhi - so true, that would have been awesome! And thank you for watching!
Hi! The Billy Bookcase comes with 5 shelves (though one shelf in the very middle is built in and not adjustable so it can’t be moved). If the bookcase just has manga I’d say that two more shelves can be added ($12-$15 for each extra shelf based on color) to the bookcase if you’re not going to double-stack. So one single row of about/up to 45 volumes can fit per shelf (standard viz manga size). There’s also the height extension unit you can add for one extra enclosed shelf on top of the bookcase for $30-$40 based on the color. The Billy bookcase itself ranges from $69-$119 depending on the color. Hope this helps!
While I’m glad you’re into one piece I really dislike the omnibus version they could have been so much better and is there a reason you picked them over the single (no hate) also pretty nice collection 👍🏾
At the time when I first started collecting One Piece I had much less shelf space so I went with the more compact Omnibus version instead. But I agree, the quality of the paper etc isn’t as good as the single volumes version. I do want to switch to the singles in the future now that I have more space. Anyway thanks for watching!
Kamisama Kiss is like the peak of shojo romance/comedy. And the art is so gorgeous!!!!
kamisama kiss is sosososo good I love it

Kamisama Kiss is a CLASSIC.
HIGHLY recommend!!!!
Thank you! I'll definitely get it 😁
Thank for you for giving a synopsis of each series, you seem like a very wholesome person
Thank you for watching! 😊 Did anything surprise you? See any of your favorites? Let me know your thoughts!

PS: I finished your video and you do NOT have Nausicaä! That's my favourite manga!!! You've earned a new suscriber, happy new year.
You have a beautiful collection! Really interesting to see.
Thank you so much!

Great Collection ! Awesome taste!

Thanks so much for watching! I too really love the dark bookcases - gives off a more refined look. Enjoy your new bookcases when you get them! 😁
You have EMMA OMNIBUS 🙀💖🎀
Love your collection!
Thank you!!

Thank you! It’s either a dust bunny or a very tiny ghost lol
This is such a fun collection:)
Thank you! 😊
Hi there! I just found your channel! You have a lovely collection! From Far Away!!! Red River!! WOw! 🤩
Hi!! Thank you so much! And those two series make me so happy 😊 I’m grateful I have them.
I’m surprised you have the Kill La Kill manga, I have the full series in paperback as well plus the first volume in hardcover.
Thank you BEE AWESOME COLLECTION.

Do you remember where you bought your last, mini-shelf? I'd love to buy one exactly like it
I added the Amazon link in the description box. Thanks so much for watching!
I love your manga collection. When did you start your manga collection?
Thank you! I started my manga collection a little more than 10 years ago.

Ohhhhh 86, a real tragedy it got cancelled (a fact I learned the day AFTER I bought the first two volumes lol)
Yes, so sad! The light novels will have to be the way to go since those are still ongoing for the story.
Hi! If a bookcase only has manga how many extra shelves do you need to buy? I'm starting my collection journey and would love an idea for costs. 😊

Where do you get such nice shelves please reply
They are called "Billy" Bookcases from IKEA. The color is dark brown oak. Thanks for watching!

@@CollectorBeeits about the same size as s 3 volumes though lol
Are your reading Dandadan at all ?
I haven’t but after seeing your comment, I looked it up and the plot sounds awesome! Thanks for mentioning it 😁
Why did you zoom in at 0:55?
Great collection!
Also, Unnamed memory actually ends at vol 6 and not 3 so there's more story to be told and it's great 😊
Good to know! Thank you!
