Little tip. Plug the hdmi and usb in to your TV. No need for the plug.
Another one that I watched connected with NFC and didn't need wifi. I'm going to have to try it myself.

How to use it for unsmart tv
I had one connected to tv in living room and another connected to bedroom tv. But the bed one has uninstalled itself and no way can i get the Google home app on my old galaxy j5.. its annoying to have to keep swapping over.. anyone know how to indtall it without the Google home app?. Gema hx

Sadly, no use to me. The setup screen etc shown in this video is completely different to the one that shows on my TV. which includes a QR code and then all I get is one set of adverts after another trying to sign me up for annual fees. So far the device has been a complete washout !
