You can get a special cooling case with graphene, copper and aluminum layers with a magnetic ring that you can attach a magnetic cooling fan onto, they make these cases for many of the popular phones.
Those coolers only really help if the cpu, heatpipe or whatever is somehow connected to the housing. Most phones are using the display to transfere heat. Iphones are using the back with other components. I would use this on a device where it was designed for
I bought one. Not this strong, half as strong to be exact. I ran a bunch of benchmarks to get the real numbers out. I own a Samsung ZFold4 with a 8+ Gen1. In 3D mark I ran a control which was just putting the phone in a fridge and got 99.8% stability. At room temperature it achieved only 71.8%. with the cooler the stability jumped to 92%. Well the situations could not be exactly matched for the runs but this still proves that if you do something on your phone which causes it to thermal throttle, a cooler can either just reduce the throttling to a lower degree or increase the time until it throttles.
