Okiboru's not from Japan... they used to be out here in LA. Regardless, amazing Tsukamen spot. On par if not better than Tsujita out here. Too bad they closed.
I like the diversity of the revional Chinese dishes. I want to eat some Taiwanese breakfast, some fried doughnuts, some onion pancakes, some hot soy milk, some jook, then a ji pai fried chicken breast. Uncle rogerrrrrr would msg approve!!! Fuiyah
hello fb, how are ny's youngest food critics - please say to chef huang (for yellow cook) - the jian bing - did the friend also roast a pork for char siu. the casserole with fried you bing looks fun and they did not use red or white but rice cooking wine. think the japanese cooking wine is a little sweeter (mirin). the marinade is the meat was in fridge for more than 1-2 hours before just quick cook with a heated thickened dip. huang likes e village more(?) the beef is roast in a crockpot for 10 hours. thank you for the stream of peking about the french olympics with confit (bad fit). okiburo bowl with the ladle is white than black in japan. mr. chang for beef - non egg noodles soup bowl the best. the kopitiam must have a nice dessert with the jewel rice dessert - jackfruit with milk syrup. the anchovies snack is these little single packs that has nice protein in taiwan markets - finger food. the thai food with chicken rice - can be without bones. the restaurant yum on 9th avenue to the elle
You would never have thought about dipping bread into an egg... really? I thought nearly everybody did this... when your yolk breaks on your sunny eggs or whatever, I coat the bread in the yolk... it's the fucking best...
@@fungbros kinda prefer it with a bit more music in between to make it a bit more exciting. not sure what is it but i liked the previous style of food video editing. more music in between foodie spots or to help with transitions gives the video more… guidance? like bookends or chapter transitions. this one feels… just… uninteresting throughout. not enough variety in pacing or something to keep interest up. especially for such a long video. not gonna lie i stopped watching halfway even though i was curious about the rest of the video but it was just… hard to continue… and this super soft same background music throughout the entire video is sort of… disconcerting. like idk if it’s playing at the restaurant or it’s an overlay… it’s bugging me somehow. bring back the previous style please 🫤 idk if it’s just me
Man everything looks so good 😮💨
Oh my goodness... I want to try it all! I can't wait to visit NY and go on an epic foodie tour😍🤤😘
A Michelin star ramen shop from Japan opened a location in Dumbo called Tsuta ramen

Kaya toast is fireeee, missing it after having it in Singapore 🤤
Tsukemen - pronounced Tsu-Kei-men
Tonkatsu - fried pork cutlet
Tonkotsu- pork broth
Tori paitan- thick chicken broth
