Awesome reaction! James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett have used many guitars over the years. Gibson, Jackson, ESP and Fender guitars are their go-tos. They have their own signature guitars with most of these manufacturers. You cant go wrong with any of them. Test out a few and a local shop and just find one that you like the sound and feel of and go from there. Best of luck!

Kirk Hammett (lead guitarist) was playing what's known as a "Flying V". Not sure who made it, but usually Kirk prefers Gibson guitars, so.......maybe a Gibson?

Either Creeping Death live from Moscow 1991. There were 1.6 million people in that show. It was so big they held it at an airport out on the runways. BTW I love your reaction! I’m an OG fan. I saw them live in 1991. You could’ve powered a city with the energy generated from the crowd and from the band.

If you like crazy crowds and excellent guitar work, you need to go check out Pantera. The songs "Walk" and "Cemetery Gates" are worth checking out. No band whipped a crowd up in the 90s like Pantera
