It's just simply at this point, if you're not an acc baseball team or sec then you won't get the recruits or talent. Basically they don't have the funds such as Georgia, Florida, fsu, ole miss, to just wave around an athletes face to come play for them. My theory is backed up by the fact this will be the first time in NCAA baseball history we have 4 acc and sec teams going to Omaha.
@@KadenHartley my theory is that weather has a huge pull as well. California has top talent and teams that can compete with acc and sec schools, but how well can you do when you’re only competing ~5 months out of the year. Check out the Oregon roster. Super interesting to see a state school with so many out of state recruits. Compare with SEC/ACC that almost exclusively recruit in state. I may be overthinking, just a thought
