With my ASI533MC Pro or ASI2600 MC Pro, I ‘bank’ my bias frames and reshoot them every 6 mo or so. If I don’t use my bias frames, I get all sorts of artifacts. I use a flat panel to shoot my flats. I then look at the flat exposure and shoot dark flats with an identical exposure. I have gotten good results using this protocol. Haven’t shot formal darks in a while.
I have found with myself that the auto feature over exposes my flats quite a bit. Especially when I use my broadband filter. With narrowband it doesn't as much I've come to find out. Just been used to doing it manually to get the ADU I find the best
I just haven't seen any personal gain with dark flats. I used to do them in the past but I never see a difference. Bias frames absolutely. Really lowers the the thermal noise in my images
This is very camera dependent, For the ASI294 you need darks certainly but also when shooting flats, especially with narrowband filters flats are shot in my case 8 seconds with average ADU of 18-20000. Yo NEEd dark flats with them

Nice - thanks.
Can you do part ii, loading it all into WBPP. Especially multi night OSC narrowband data. 👍
I use the Auto settings for Flat and Bias frames.
Have you tried to compare the difference between these two settings?

Well, nice video! i notifed that you don't use dark flat but bias. Do you think it's a better way with cooled camera as asi?clear skies!

I turned off the video after I heard that they were not being made dark flats
