Thank you for your highly informative discussion on both types of Redbreast. I find your observations to be extremely precise.
Just saw an exchange of views on the Blue vs Gold debate on Whisky Crusaders, but I think all agree its good to have a choice , cheers Stacie P.S we didn't get a new batch of Blue Spot in the UK
it was the 2022 just re-issued on the site from whoever held on to it. I got one anyway I'm quick to hit that return if I see them rarely.
I’m not a big fan of Blue myself.
I have both bottles and enjoy them equally. Cheers 🥃
I love both of these on different occasions. Great review!
Thanks!!
Love this comparison and thanks for the info. PX has been on my radar and will come across eventually. I have the Lustau and it's a tasty pour Cheers
There are still some out there!
Awesome comparison. Cheers!
Thanks!!
You mentioned there were some things in each whisky you liked that weren't in the other. I know it might be a bit sacrilegious but I wonder if combining the two might bring together the best notes in one blended dram.
That’s a great idea. I think it’s going to be similar to the Redbreast Christmas Cake bottle I have. Will have to try it 👍

Great review thank you.🥃☘😊
Thanks for watching!
Nice review Stacie, Sláinte!🥃
Thanks Coolerunning 🥃
If you happen to have enough and want to put a little sample of that PX aside, I might be interested in a trade :) Cause I never saw it.
Yep! I got ya 👍
For an easily found core release, that's just a little bit more pricy than the standard, the Lustau is a great option!
Totally agree Matt! I’d pick Lustau over the 15 year myself
If you prefer the nose on one and the palate on the other, have you ever tried blending them? I've done that with a couple of Catoctin Creek ryes, a couple of Highland Parks and a couple of Glen Morays (although it was also to average the proof...).
I’m going to try that. I think the combination will be very similar to the Redbreast Christmas Cake Barrel Club Release
