Being a regular dancer on the show was one kind of experience. Yeah, that was me and my partner on the left part of the stage hustling away. Meeting all the great artists will always be a highlight in my life. Meeting new friends like Jeff and Donna, Tony and Sue, Bobbi and Cindy and Macolm was a bonus. I wish today could be like it was in the Disco era since Dance was the best exercise you can get. And it was so enjoyable. Thank You Soap Factory for giving me those memories for life.
Sorry my friend, there would never be another era like the Disco period. You would have to bottle the magic of that era all over again. I was there and they will never be nothing like it again. Indeed it was truly magical.
Hi Tony. Did you happen to know someone by the name of Michael Baldwin? He was a frequent dancer at Soap Factory and was also featured on the back cover of the Do the Hustle album. He was my father's cousin, but unfortunately died in 1992. I am trying to learn about him and his life.
I love Disco. Yes awesome. I miss the Disco Era. 😢😢 I miss being a teenager. I miss the 70s and 80s. The Disco Era was a fun and exciting time in history. I have a miniature Disco Ball hanging from the ceiling of my den right now. 😊❤😊❤ Thank you again Tony for the precious memories that I will forever treasure and cherish.😊😊 😊❤😊😊😊😊
This was a major great hit in pop charts in France not only in clubs. Whereas in US, pop charts laid far behind and this song remained only in club charts...
...this was probably the BEST performance Karen gave of "Hot Shot! ....MANY of the others show her stiff, unsure, & insecure....here, she's engaged, the crowd is HYPED, and the Guys in the Hats (2:10) give it a, "Night at Chippendales" vibe! (1:12) ...a (former) 2 week #1 Disco hit, August 1978....
GRACIAS RUclips por recordar parte de nuestras vidas aunque sea por una simple canción pero que nos hace recordar lo hermoso que fue nuestra juventud y adolescencia. Mil gracias
Great memories the first time i ever seen my sister dance was off this song everyone left the floor and let her and her male friend dance to this it was amazing and she had a skirt and cowboy boots on.
Una canzone che va bene per gli allenamenti di una squadra di calcio, palleggio e passaggio oppure per un qualsiasi carnevale brasiliano ed anche italiano!
OMG bailé esto miles de veces!! Que tiempos aquellos!!! ❤

That dude on the right of her, the one that's dressed in beige, stole the show. His dance moves perfectly captured the essence of the song.
Eddie L. Agree, he killed it! I wonder who he is. His dance moves are crazy! Jamming!!!!!!!!

Man what is about Philadelphia that has some amazing Blue Eyed Soul Signers. Hall & Oates, Len Barry (RIP), her (RIP) and Vickie Sue Robinson (RIP)
Philly was the ish musically speaking. No bad singers or music ever came out of Philly.
Vicki Sue Robinson is biracial. Her father is African American.
