70 's Songs like this were recorded with analog studio equipment ,that generates a harmonic and very cohesic fat relaxing sound by his own , like someones beautiful handwriting with graceful letters .Digital is "just" a printer. The worst example of analog is a vinylrecord player withe ticks and rumble , the best example is professional tapemachine with professional Dolby A, SR /DBX noise reduction. But digital is very suitible to very precisely convert the analog source to ones and zeroes for endless conservation and endless relistening without degradation.

This was the Billboard #1 song the week I was born (late November, 1975). I've always been partial to this song. It's very minimal, at least vocal-wise, but the soaring strings make my spirit sing. Love these girls!
Here are some interesting facts about the song: "Fly Robin Fly" was a huge commercial success, reaching #1 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming one of the biggest-selling singles of the year. It also topped charts in many other countries, including Canada, Australia, and the UK. The song features a driving disco beat, catchy melody, and memorable chorus that make it instantly recognizable to many people. The chorus, which consists of the repeated phrase "Fly, robin, fly," is one of the most memorable in disco music history. "Fly Robin Fly" was written and produced by Silvester Levay and Stephan Prager, who were also responsible for many other disco hits in the 1970s. The song was performed by three female vocalists, Penny McLean, Linda G. Thompson, and Ramona Wulf, who were members of Silver Convention. "Fly Robin Fly" helped to popularize disco music and was one of the first disco songs to achieve mainstream success. It paved the way for many other disco hits in the years that followed. The song has been covered and remixed many times over the years, and has been sampled in numerous hip-hop and dance songs, including "I Like to Move It" by Reel 2 Real and "Do It Again" by Chemical Brothers. Overall, "Fly Robin Fly" is a disco classic that helped to define the sound of the 1970s. Its infectious beat, catchy melody, and memorable chorus have made it a timeless favorite among disco fans around the world.
I wonder if these singers ,and other disco acts like the woman in boney m ,got paid a flat fee like a session musician . It seems like they didn't get royalty s like rock groups did
Such great info on Silver Convention. Never, never knew they were from Munchen! Interesting, in my disco years from far, far ago, this was always the intro song the DJ player when music started! Great to hear this song again, memories of long, long ago 😏😊!
Disco Duck and everybody under the sun tried to imitate Silver Conention's music. Their music was so well designed and created that noone would copy them!!! Silver Convention was at the very top of my American disco list!!!!!! I loved them more than any other group in disco, and there were a lot of them!!!! Some bands back then were classified as disco but they were actually FUNK which I also loved!!!!❤❤❤❤

That's why the 1970-ies were so great. Many of things now totally forbidden by the Inclusiveness Police were still most normal. Even if you state that one of the singers is black and one a transgender would not help you anymore. More and more I feel that we were FREE in the seventies.

It was a real break from the 60s when all pop songs had to be singing, with very few instrumentals.
@@geraldobrien7323 - yet there were plenty more instrumentals back then than what we've had since the 80s.
Me too and I wasn't thought of at the time and my parents were babies my mom was 4 when this came out
Surely the best era,,,everyone was original best days in school,,,super music,,,missing it...❤
I still remember these toppop shows back in the seventies in my childhood , my dad was always watching this on television every week.

Back in the good ole days of Radio Luxembourg, it was played frequently, still love it.
Nessa época eu tinha 17 anos.Que saudade do respeito entre as pessoas. Existia amizade sincera.

This was the Billboard #1 song the week I was born (late November, 1975). I've always been partial to this song. It's very minimal, at least vocal-wise, but the soaring strings make my spirit sing. Love these girls!
yes it does make the spirit sing well said
Mochrie99 Yes, you are right, I agree. Good memories for you!
@@ginger3467 Yes, I agree with you.
It was #1 for three weeks.
To date,I still enjoy it too!
The 1970s - the best time to be a teen.

I love love instrumental music, and this was one of my favorites.

It seems like they didn't get royalty s like rock groups did
Good info, danke
Such great info on Silver Convention. Never, never knew they were from Munchen!
Interesting, in my disco years from far, far ago, this was always the intro song the
DJ player when music started! Great to hear this song again, memories of long,
long ago 😏😊!
The Discoest song that ever Discoed and it still rocks
The "chorus" was "Fly, Robin, Fly? The WHOLE SONG is Fly, Robin, Fly!

The complexity of the song's lyrics is amazing. Great instrumentals.
😂
I love the instrumentation for this-the string arrangements.
Kitty Katz, 🎻🤗😍!👍
I remember this song from back in the day, but the Equalizer TV show brought me here tonight.
This was one of my favorite songs back in the 70s. I used to listen to it on a 45 record. Those were the days.
This was the atmosphere of the 70s. Yes it was wonderful. 🕺🏻👏❤️
I don't just love the music, that dancing is mesmerizing. ❤💃💃💃
I gotta say- the drumming on this track is sumptuous! Good song- great drumming!
Que lindas!!!!!! Esplêndido 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
I was only 2 months old when that song came out,now 48 years later and I still love this 70's classic
this song is all about sexiness.. so simple but very intoxicating.. i am 57 and remembered when this came out.. dancing with someone you like is already magical..
That's why the 1970-ies were so great. Many of things now totally forbidden by the Inclusiveness Police were still most normal. Even if you state that one of the singers is black and one a transgender would not help you anymore. More and more I feel that we were FREE in the seventies.
I kinda envy you... At least for the music and freedom of the 70s.
