@@carguy302 I plan on picking up a g82 soon and have been looking for exhaust setups and this is definitely the best I heard and plan on picking this up. Any recommendations for downpipes and mufflers to add with this midpipe that won't mess up the sound?
Love it! I watched your previous mid-pipe videos as well and this one seems like the winner. Appreciate you testing them out for everyone to hear. Mine is currently still stock, but is my daily. Any suggestions on which route to go where I can get good sound but still be able to leave the house in morning without waking the family? (I have a valve controller)
Great to hear! Thank you for checking out the channel. In my opinion the 102mm Milltek single mid pipe fits the bill. The cold starts with valves closed isn’t too loud or obnoxious. Price & quality are great and offer a unique sound that I find intoxicating.
CG, how do you get it right with your cars and exhausts, just when i thought you are one of if not the only dude with a proper sounding M5 with that AWE, now you get the Miltek with the stock muffler and this Cs sounds the business with those valves open, Kudos to you mate, enjoy your Cs!!
Much appreciated brotha! They say “3rd time is a charm” 😉 This is my 3rd mid pipe on the G80 M3 platform and it’s a winner. All of them are great choices but the Milltek is different. Made the CS sound 😈
That’s a great question. In my opinion the Milltek edges out the AA EL because it has a great sound without the brutal cold starts & high price tag. In addition the quality is phenomenal.
@@G82Watts I did see they now offer 2 versions of the AA EL Midpipe. I was thinking about giving it a try but the price deterred me. From what I can gather the 102mm Milltek is new.
@@carguy302get the catted active auto and thank me later. No CEL no smell and way more turbo spool sound. Just pricy but you got a CS so I know you got it like that ;)
That 'uniqueness' you’re talking about is that unpleasant, raspy weed-whacker noise that makes the S58 sound like a fart-can Honda with an exhaust leak. Single midpipes help smooth out the tone, and by being more equal in length than the factory exhaust, they provide a more accurate representation of the S58’s natural sound.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. However the single mid pipe brings out the true sound and tone of the S58. Otherwise it sounds like two 3 cylinder engines fighting 🤣
love this type of review to hear it from all perspective ! this CS sounds so solid too!!!
Thanks so much! Great to hear 💯🙌🏼
That cold start brought a huge grin to my face
Me too…💯🙌🏼 This mid pipe has a great sound.
The titanium muffler definitely smoothens it out and provides a unique tone. Now if only I could find someone willing to sell their CS/CSL muffler.
Are you in NJ/NY?
I agree…💯 Prolly tough to find. I’m curious how much BMW charges. I’ll have to look it up.
@@epap1375 No, I'm in Minneapolis, MN. But if you have one your looking to sell, I'll cover shipping.
Sounds loud but tasteful. Probably what it should sound like from the factory.
💯…BMW should’ve made it sound this way
Beautiful ride and sounds great!!
Thank you! I’m in love with the new sound.
Great stuff, just installed mine as well, very happy with it!
Thanks for checking out the video. Great to hear you have one as well. Enjoy 😎
what's up Drew!!! Thinking about picking up a Milltek as well. Might need to check out your ride soon!!! Been awhile. Would be cool to get together.
Awesome sound. This was non resonated?
Thanks & yes it's the non resonated.

Sounds great. Stock downpipes?
Thanks! Yes stock downpipes.
Is it better then the AA equal length? Sounds good

@carguy302 supposedly the new v2 AA equal length fixed the cold start issue. Is this 102MM militek new

@@carguy302 thanks for the help love the channel man! U really do a great job showing what the mods do more then anyone else.!
@@G82Watts You're welcome! Thanks for checking the channel out and I truly appreciate the feedback.💯
You can unbox it before place it in the truk ^^
You’re right…I could have but chose not too. Reason being is I don’t want to risk damaging my interior with any sharp edges.
Who did you order it from?
Kevin@EAS (European Auto Source)
It gets stupid loud when you add a catless DP
It sure does!💯 I don’t plan on adding catless downpipes anytime soon. The OEM downpipes flow enough unless you’re going for max effort.
@@carguy302 They definitely do. But, the free flow downpipes help with spool, 100%. Looking forward to seeing your clips with the catless DP.

Imho single midpipes takes away all the uniqueness off S58 and make it sound like B58. Equal length, h-pipe or x-pipe is the way to go.

You hit the nail on the head brotha!! Couldn’t have said it better myself. 😉
Single midpipe sounds better to me it's less raspy
looks like you have a screw in your tire
I thought the same thing but it’s just a rock that was stick to the tire. The sticky Michelin cup tires like to pick up everything
