I like how you do step by step tutorial. I really do appreciate you. I adore all your design. I have a question, i do a lot of family events but i do not know how to charge where I make a profit without over charging family. What should I charge family so I can make money without feeling guilty charging them? I hope my question made since to you.
It does make sense to me. You can just come up with a family discount. When you add up all of the expenses and determine how much you want to charge, take a percentage off or dollar amount off for family. For example, if you would charge a client $100 for a centerpiece, you can charge your family $75 (25% discount). But I will say this…you don’t have to give any discounts. As family, they can pay full price for your decorations as an investment into your business. If you give too many discounts, you will not make a profit (which means you’re decorating for free).
I love your videos and your creativity! Your videos give me so much motivation, & are so relatable, I have to ask, where do you get all of your supplies? Is it possible to do a video on how to get affordable supplies and cost ranges? That would be amazing!!!! 111 Much Love!
Hi there! I have a vendor list that you can purchase. I’m not sure if everything is affordable. But here’s the vendors that I order from - yeseventdecorandmore.retrieve.com/store/#/resources/yes-event-decor-vendor-list. Thanks!
Where did you get your balloons ? I’m thinking of doing my baby shower with friends and family just need good balloons thank you for your video ! So helpful !
These are adorable. I never thought about renting centerpieces! What do you charge when renting? Is there a formula you use? What is the purchase price?
SO ADORABLE !!! I love the idea, my event is formal maybe I could make one for the gift table and sign in table , it's a Family Reunion formal, any idea? thanks
This is so beautiful. I have a quick question. I am doing a baby shower this weekend. This is the theme they wanted. I purchased all the required items for the exception of the 7 inch floral foam it was sold out almost all over, so I purchased the 6-1/2 but I noticed when I was putting the pipe in it was not standing it kept falling. Can you give me some suggestions, and is it okay to use the 6-1/2 inch? I was thinking of cutting 1/2 from another foam to make up the difference.
Hi 👋🏻 there thank you for all your help explain a lot of tricks I’m newly in this field but I’m really interested to learn how much you can charge for centerpiece do you charge by piece
Hi thank you so much for sharing! What would you do if you were using real florals? I assume the glue wouldn’t stick as well if the foam is wet so wondering how to stick the pvc pipe and make sure it’s secure. Thanks!
Thank you for watching! The one time we used real flowers, we just put the flowers in the foam in the same way as the artificial flowers. The event planner I worked with bought flowers from the grocery store and put them in right before the event. Here’s the link to that event - ruclips.net/video/PYFZvmawxRc/видео.html.
The link is in the description of the video. If they are not available, you could use the base in this video - ruclips.net/video/jl1JnUrGSFw/видео.html.

What do you rent the teddy bear stand/centerpieces for ànd do you charge a deposit on the rental so incase the stands get broke that you can recover some of your cost of replacing them? Thank you!
You are soo clever!! I love your balloon art! 💜 I’d like to try it how long do the balloons hold air? I’m thinking about time crunch for our baby shower?..
By any chance do you know how many inch are the bears? Those are the perfect size and trying to order the correct ones ! Iove this video btw very much inspired!

Is there anything you can recommend to add more weight to the base? I’m having an outdoor baby shower and I’m a little worried about wind knocking them over?
I would make the base differently if I was using these for an outdoor event. I would glue the hard floral foam to a heavy base (wood, tile, etc) and use that instead.
@@YesEventDecor would you glue the floral base on top of the wood? I’m making these for my babyshower and it’s outside thinking of how I would glue the floral round foam to something solid. Thank you :)
Thank you! I use a few different brands. Here’s some more information on that (if you’re interested in joining my membership program), www.yeseventdecor.com/startup-guides.
This is tooooo cute! Awesome job and thank you for explaining so clearly to us!! That’s much appreciated 🧸Looks like a fun centerpiece to make and not hard looks like! Will you store them as is ? Well minus the balloons and flowers etc.
Ohhh, so you rent these out for events and just replace the individual items as desired by the next customer? What a great business you have! ❤ Edited: I hadn't waited until the end of the video to hear your explanation. Lol! 🤦♀️
Hello I’m thinking about making the Teddy bear centerpieces, but the floral foam isn’t available on Amazon in the size that you used. Do you recommend another brand and size
Unfortunately, this is the only way I’ve made these. You can purchase a bigger foam circle and try that out. Someone also suggested in the comments that you can attach foam to wood and make the base that way.
It’s a foam circle. The link is in the description of this video. If the foam circle isn’t available, here’s a link to another tutorial you can use - ruclips.net/video/jl1JnUrGSFw/видео.html.
I think that one will be a bit small. Not sure it will hold unless you make a smaller centerpiece (smaller balloons, smaller teddy bear, smaller PVC pipe). You can always try it and see.
The link for the materials I used is in the description of the video. If you can’t find the foam circle, here’s another tutorial I created - ruclips.net/video/jl1JnUrGSFw/видео.html. Thanks!

When do you have to push down on the top of the balloons to give it a round look?
I don’t push down on the balloons to give it a round shape.

Would the balloons deflate the next day if I did this the day before the event?
No, they shouldn’t. I typically blow up my balloons 1-2 days before my event.
I have a quick question, instead of spray paint can I use like a ribbon to cover the stick ?
Sure, you can use ribbon. I would recommend putting the ribbon on first (before you glue the pvc pipe to the foam circle).
This is tooooo cute! Awesome job and thank you for explaining so clearly to us!! That’s much appreciated 🧸Looks like a fun centerpiece to make and not hard looks like! Will you store them as is ? Well minus the balloons and flowers etc.

Hi I been dying to make my own flower back drop
Did you make it yet? I’ve seen people make their own flower wall. I’m sure it takes a lot of time.
nice how many pipes would i need to create 4 center pieces
Depends on how long you cut each piece. I believe each pipe is 10ft tall.

Beautiful centrepieces

The round foams are out of stock. I see that yours was 7 inch, the largest I found was 4 inch. Do you believe this would still work? Thank you.
