  • Welcome to the #ASHE2024 Submission Prep Information Series!
These videos are created to explore information available to assist in creating a proposal for the 49th Annual Conference taking place virtually on Thursday, November 7 and in-person November 20-23 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
This video explores the Proposal Format Option of Scholarly Papers. These proposals feature novel arguments, pose and grapple with critical questions, synthesize divergent bodies of literature, and/or elaborate new theoretical or conceptual frameworks. As non-data-driven papers, authors are not required to adhere to an empirical research design (e.g., methods, data collection, and data analysis). Accepted papers will be grouped together for a 75-minute session, with each paper presentation lasting 12-15 minutes and concluding with feedback from a Discussant.
Picking a format is just one part of preparing your proposal to submit to the ASHE Annual Conference. Be sure to check out the full guide at ashe.ws/callforproposals. Don't forget, submissions are due by April 22! 🗓️
