  • I was learning & practicing Waterman Set 2 during a random practice session and I caught a neat three solve sequence, primarily interesting because it had one of my fastest corners solves ever (1.56 seconds, in the first solve). None of these solves include the new Waterman set but anyway, the split times are listed below:
    Solve 1: 13.78 seconds
    Corners 1.56 sec
    E2L 7.73 sec
    L5E 4.49 sec
    Solve 2: 15.79 seconds
    Corners 4.62
    E2L 7.53
    L5E 3.64
    Solve 3: 14.96 seconds
    Corners 3.93
    E2L 6.82
    L5E 4.21

Nice job on the fast corner solve. You continue to impress. I have been busy lately, but at least I now am sub 1 minute.

Progress is not smooth; you stagnate for a while then make a huge jump. That is how it has always been for me, in fact I often get significantly worse as I try to add new sets, concepts and algorithms, I bite the bullet for a few weeks until the new stuff flows smoothly, then I make a huge jump.

That is nice to know. I think an average of 40 should be pretty easy for me. I have just not had any time to practice. I still don't even know all of the beginner version algs and their are only like 20 of them. I am sure improvement will come quickly once I actually manage to put time into it.

This method is so fun to watch. The m slices and weird U' pulls look so cool. Btw I'm almost done with the TEG DFR- set, I just finished the turtle algs today and all I have left is the gun set and I'm done!

Efattah definitely manages to make this method look graceful. My cruddy minute long solves on the other hand look like a mess.

What's you guys' average today with this method, do you still practice it?
