- This election saw the continued rise of sectarianism in British politics, with the "Muslim Vote" pressure group helping 50 MPs to get elected.
And Labour suffered the most from it. Jess Phillips experienced harassment during the campaign and while giving her victory speech. Hilariously, she ignored any Islamist connection and instead blamed it on "men".
And ironically, she asked for her hecklers to be removed. Where to Jess? Rwanda? Your party shut that down.
Some of the pro-Gaza MPs have some very dodgy opinions and connections. And one thing's for sure - Islamism in UK politics is here to stay, and with Labour increasing immigration from the Muslim world, it's going to grow.

I'm a senior citizen from Northern Ireland so I know a lot about sectarian politics. This is an even more virulent example than anything I witnessed at the start of our troubles in this part of the UK. Mainland voters need to act now and act firmly and decisively to eradicate this cancer before it takes root and becomes the new norm.

It's been said that originally, Irish nationalists were Zionists, supporting a home for Jewish folk as it echoed their own ambition to form a sovereign state. Not sure where it went wrong, ha.
The comparison with Northern Ireland though, is that many communities are completely polarised. Some streets fly Palestinian flags, others fly Star of David flags. Their political allegiances are diametrically opposed. United Ireland, or loyal British subjects.
If there are groups within a country with completely different political goals and indeed unshared values, friction and dominance struggles follow. At least in NI there are common cultural Western/Christian values shared among the two sides, I guess this part explains why there is at least a large centre ground between moderate Nationalists/Unionists.

It may not mean much, but Rep. Ireland public gave their second highest vote in Eurovision to Israel.

Jess rejected the suggestion that the men heckling her were motivated by sectarian objectives was too simplistic, and instead came to the conclusion that it was because they were 'idiots'. She's not going to openly say what she must know, she'd prefer to lie. And she's showing commitment to her dishonesty with her claim that the men who have thrown nothing but abuse her way, represent no part of her constituency. What needs to happen, Jess? What do you need to witness or experience before you'll be truthful?

I think what we are seeing is the concentration of Muslims in particular areas and a movement of non Muslims from those areas either because of intimidation by Muslims or because non Muslims don’t want to live in areas with Muslim populations. This results in areas becoming dominated by Muslims until eventually they become complete Islamic ghettos. In the UK we call it ‘white flight’ and in India I’m sure you have other names for it. In my experience areas rapidly deteriorate when large numbers of Muslims move into an area, with increasing litter, crime, drugs, child abuse etc. Why is this?

Hitler didn't even win the election. There were 3 elections in Germany between 1932 and 1933, none of which could produce a clear winner. Hitler and the National Socialists were chosen as the compromise by the elites, because at the time they were seen as the moderates.
