@@h0ney..s448 Yes! I got you boo ❤
🤩🤩 I bought perm rods weeks ago, but still so scared to try. You have reignited my desire to try them. The curl pattern, the volume, just wow!
I feel you!! The last time I did it it was kinda missing something. But this time 👏🏾 I cracked it. I just had to share. Thank you so much for your comment. It’s why I make these videos!
Love the results. I can’t wait to see the other styles and how you maintain it throughout the week.
The final results are amazzzzingggg! ❤
This came out so good! Never thought to add oil during setting. Will definitely try that. ❤
Your hair turned out so CUTE. I have found The Doux Mousse Def is an excellent product for our type 4 hair. I appreciate how you let us know how your hair style holds up during the week. Look forward to seeing it/vlogmas.
Yaaaaassssss I love this style. I’m always nervous about the separation part.
Your hair is so pretty & shiny! I will definitely try my perm rods!🙌🏽🙌🏽🥳
Girl, those curls are bouncing! I'm going to try this myself. Thanks for the tutorial! You have motivated me.
It's definitely worth it!!
This is such a cute look! The tip regarding smoothing the ends really helps. I'm excited to try a rod set again.
Glad it was helpful!
I love the results...great job
I just ordered four different types of roller - regular foam and magnetic rollers; and Flexi rods and perm rods. I had planned to try the perm rods last but this video has led to my desire to move them up the priority ladder. Great look, great video!
Looks so good. Gonna have to try this
This video made me smile. You are so beautiful. Love love the hair. I looked up this video because I am doing my daughter's hair this way but wanted an example of what I could expect with the finishing look. Thank you!!❤
You are you very welcome - and thank you! ❤️
Beautiful result!!😍😍😘😘. I am looking forward to seeing how you maintain the style and how long it lasts.
Thank you! I ended up having to wash my hair shortly after. I went about three days before I was forced to wash it and it looked really good!
This came out so pretty 😍
Thank you Apara! 😊
Your hair looks beautiful 😍 I want to try this
This style turned out beautifully 😊❤
Thank you! I'm so happy lol!
Oh my God, I will definitely try this. The curls are so beautiful 😍 🤩
Yessssss. Thank you 😊
Gorgeous 🌟, loved your results!!
Thank you Melanie!!!
Im about to try this now. Your hair is gorgeous.
👏🏾 DO IT!
I love it ❤❤❤❤
I can't wait to try this! Go girl!
I highly recommend it! It takes some time, but the mousse makes it last all week at varying levels. I myself will do this again. 😊
Perfection!
It looks BEAUTIFUL. You did an amazing job. I want a perm so badly…😂
You look so pretty! These came out really good.. but whew chile! The nerves and anticipation 😂
I was so nervous 😂
wow, that is gorgeous. recently stumbled across your videos, and love them
Thank you 🥰
Great results 😊😊
Thank you! And thank you for stopping by!
This is fire!!!
I’m gonna try this but use the bristle brush to lay it flat.
Oooo I hadn't thought of that!
So beautiful 🤩 I’m like lemme try a rod set! Lol ♥️
gorgeous!
Thank you!
Looks great thank you for the vid
Thanks for watching!
Looks really good 🤩. Don't think it would be quite the same on shorter hair though. It's great that you didn't need to sit under the dryer.
The curls are cute
Thanks Tracy! 🥰
💃🏾 WOOOOOOOOO! Vlogmas❗🎄🎅🏾🎄💚
💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
Very pretty
I have been sharing your videos on twitter. I had a perm and in order to get back to my curly I had to do a wave noveau and my coach was black and he was like you got a jerry curl lmao.
🤣💀
Simple tutorial with a great outcome. Your face shape would allow you to wear you curls really voluptuous. Afro-ish with the big circle earrings dangling underneath! 🤤 Thanks Beautiful!
I get so defeated sometimes once I do my natural hair because sometimes it doesn’t come out right. I was just sitting here thinking about doing a set on my hair though but then I see this❤ looks great!
Patience and practice. I’ve had many a day of “failed” hairstyles. Now I’ve learned to roll with the punches and throw it up in a puff 😂
@@LaToyaEbonyHair exactly, Ebony I’m doing my set this week! Thx for the encouragement
I think it is easier to separate if you separate per permrod instaead of removing all and then start to separate. Exspecially if you have a lot of hair.
So lovely!🥰 I like curls, but I don't own any type of curler.🤣🤣
If you want to try, Amazon had great deals on perm rods. Mine were a great price 👀
Mis lady where did you get perfect perm rod set? Your hair is lovely
Too cute 💋💋
I jus had an epic fail two days ago. I’m going to try again with your method
🙌🏾 You’ve got this. Good luck!
😍
So if you decided to sit under the dryer how long would you have sat? I'm thinking of doing this for my daughter for a dinner tonight
Can you do a short of how you maintain this style??
Tbh it’s not even worth a video. I throw on my satin bonnet and call it a day lol
@@LaToyaEbonyHair hahaha!!! I get it. Thanks 😊
I’m not sure if I missed it but have you tried doing rod set in blow dry hair. If so, does it look dry compared to the shine your curls in this video have?
I have not don’t a rod set on blow dried hair. Tbh it might be a waste of time because the hair has to get wet to “set” it. Unless you want to blow dry to work through your hair faster. I recommend stretching your hair so it smooths around the rod easier. Hope that helps you decide.
I really want to know how long it lasted. The humidity by me is a beast!
I’ll probably do it again to share.‘I had to wash it early because I wanted to put twists in for a trip.
How the hell do you do the back of your head without seeing it? Like ??😭😭😭
I always get frizz when I separate my curls. Any tips?👀
Be very very careful and use some oil in your fingers. Also make sure the hair is super detangled.
I hear sitting under the dryer sets the style & makes it last longer
I’ve heard that too, but I had no issues. 🤷🏾♀️ I hate sitting under the dryer so if I can get these results without it, count me in! Lol
@@LaToyaEbonyHair #whateverworks lul
It does. I sit under the hooded dryer for 45mins with my wash n curl. Any it lasts longer than air drying. I can’t air dry, the thought and feel of having wet hair drives me insane. So i use the hooded dryer 45mins and then use the diffuser to finish off the hard to reach wet spots. It last 7+’days but I don’t go beyond 7 days.
Why do y’all insist on breathing into the mic omg
💀💀💀💀
Your hair looks beautiful! Great job!😍
Thank you so much!!
