How long would it generally take to install the handlebars? And would it be the same process for a Road glide?
Hi, what brand of bushings are you using for this install? I tried taking top tree off like you did, much easier. Now I just need to find the correct bushings. Thanks!
We used the Harley neoprene bushings.
Are you using stock brake and clutch cables? And wiring harness?
We used the LA Chopper Handlebar Kit for this install. The brake and clutch cables and wiring harness are all included in the kit. -Trevor
Wilkins Harley-Davidson are you able to use stock cables and wiring harness for 14” bars.
@@seadonne You usually can use stock cables and wiring harness on 12" bars, but unfortunately you cannot with 14" bars. -Trevor
why would you have to take the tire off?
If the bike is on a lift, it's easier to take the front wheel off to turn the bars and get to the riser bolts. -Trevor Blouin
@@WilkinsHD You dont need to take the wheel off to get to the riser bolts i guess is what im stating and or asking. Why pull the wheel off adding more work when you dont have to?
Hammer F same reason sometimes you take the exhaust off when you are changing a rear wheel. We find it easier and faster. In this instance, the same applies. You do not have to take the wheel off. We just find it makes things faster in the end.
You block to much with your body and don't show details
