Re 2 remake they were lazy by copy pasting the scenarios with very little differences
Not only resident evil 2 original was perfect but alone in the dark the new nightmare had different puzzles for each scenarios and different bosses and it was on ps1

I recall reading an interview with Shinji Mikami where he said that the whole team was playing through Resident Evil, testing the balance, and one of the developers (one of the directors of the RE2 Remake, I believe) did a knife-only run before Resident Evil was even released. I can't seem to find a source for this, though... would probably have to look through interviews

the game is just quick on pc, and the taiwanese version has quicker text progression
I am a big fan of saying what isn't broken shouldn't be fixed. Re3 remake was horrible. The old school resident evil games will always be better. The remake can have the greatest and realistic graphics and it will still lose to the original resident evil games
The original RE3 was poorly received on release. It was considerably shorter than having two scenarios with both Leon and Claire in RE2, and some of the game mechanics like the quick dodge and branching paths were poorly implemented. The ammo crafting was meh and nemesis is too challenging for a game with tank controls. Sadly this game is the black sheep of the classic RE games, only reserved for hard core fans.
@@Daniel-mw7pu people always want to act like og re3 was absolutely perfect when it was far from the case... apart from re1 I would say most re games have lots of flaws, and despite them they are still really good.
Like I feel the same way about OG re2 and re3 than I do with the remakes, re2 is and will always be a better game period.
As much as I love this game, the remake was better and honestly in terms of length, watching you speed run this and the remake, it seems like they are about the same in length; only difference being the original had a bit more backtracking and more puzzles.
