mmmmm disagree any player know, (no need to be a dumb speedruner) he need to make it in right time for unlock rewards in S o S+ rank , so it s the same when zombis bite them it s slowing the run. Also just saying speedruners are nothing but dumb ppl with hundreds hours doing the same run and they were dying alot also to get the stupid learning curve in that game or any game. anyone with 2 hands and 3 fingers each hand (no need all and no much brain is need neither) can play well a game
This is super satisfying watching someone just blast through this game hardcore with ease

okay, now i feel stupid getting a bit too nervous playing this game.

Love you so much! I watched this and did my own speedrun playing Leon for the first time. I did it with Claire before thanks to you as well. I got about 1hr9min both times.

18:09 I was just about to be grabbed by a zombie as I was moving the stands when mr.x dropped down from the ladder knocking the zombies over and cancelling the pushing animation for the book stands completely saving the run and cutting time off. Fucking legend.
17:09 - depends on the distance of the explosion. If it right in front of your face up to 50 cm away - it's not just 20 seconds, you'll be blinded for at least a minute and deaf for like 10 minutes.
Man I used your speed run as a guide, and I must say that I died like 3000 times but I finally achieved that S+ rank on hardcore.

@@JamesDaSunderland most things very doable on console, main trick you can’t is the excessive knife only damage to bosses; that’s done via high frame rates.
But speed runs are still a great guide for optimized routing regardless. S rank time on hardcore of an A scenario requires 2.5 hour or less time, which means using this as a basis you have safely over an hour to spare. That’s time to grab hip pouches, ammo, etc that the speed runner skipped to better arm yourself. And meanwhile you still benefit from strats to skip things like G-Adults who’d otherwise eat up your ammo.

It's funny because I'm here trying so hard to complete the game on hardcore S+ to get infinite ammo and you're here unintentionally unlocking infinite ammo by running through this game like you're trying to make it to a sex orgy on time lol

You can't really ignore lots of ammo and weapon in hardcore difficulty when you are playing in 30fps. Coz the secret in boss fight is in the knife w/ high fps.

Hello orch just want to ask are you running old graphic drivers? I do because when I try to run resident evil 2 remake on newer drivers its just too dark. Btw love your speedruns, hope you will be doing speedrun on re3 remake
The brightness bug only exists on older versions of the game, 1.03 and later versions do not have the problem.

Does out of bounds loss or gain time over this route, considering it gets you straghit to the train and then your given the shotgun any way the only problem becomes getting grenades and knives right?
After getting spade key, why does he go down to the west office instead of west storage? Doesn't seem like it would be faster that way.
If you go through west storage (library) there is a long talkie talk (unskippable). Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm not pro.

every single one of these speedrun world records involves the speedrunner glancing over at chat every dozen seconds or so. imagine if that wasn't the case
Damn i have tried hardcore 2 times and all I could reach is till the reptile monster it always gets me in the animation run thing n idk I guess I get to nervous
The trick is to run left right left or watch an tutorial for hardcore hope this helps
ironically reptile is easiest part of the game lol
At first you run left and stay left, then you run right and stay right, and at the end you basically just run straight from my memory. The boss is exactly the same on hardcore as it is on standard and easy.

That was on Leon B Hardcore. B Scenarios are actually shorter than A Scenarios.

I think it has something to do with how well you are doing if you go around like John wick killing everything and never missing the game adapts to how well you're doing and increases the difficulty but if you die or miss shots the adaptive difficulty goes down

It's a trick to reset Mr.x AI. If you blow past him he will disappear and take a different route, but if you shoot, he stays on the same trail. Helps predict his path a lot better. Plus, the adaptive gameplay as well
