- Welcome to another episode of Scrap Mechanic Multiplayer Monday! Today we are doing a medieval castle war by launching glowbugs at the enemy towers. One person must defend while 2 others launch a barrage of glowbugs at their castle towers. Each tower has a cardboard base which will attract the glowbugs and get gradually chipped away. Whoever can keep their towers standing the longest wins!

The medieval spud guns were known as the "Spud-bow" and the "Cross-Spud-Bow"
One had a fast reload speed and was less accurate, while the other had a slow reload speed but was more precise. Both weapons can use fries, frozen and unfrozen.
The Spudapult was also used, but rarely because it takes a really long time to grow dwarf sized spuds.

And don’t forget about the well-feared spudbuchet, with it’s launching cabability of over 5 farms

I also got reminded of the Deep Frier Cauldron that some castles used when their enemies were at their doorsteps.
They would tip the Cauldron full of boiling oil onto their enemies from above.
Someone forgot the SPUD249 Light Machine Spud, with a range of 69420 spud farms, it is the superior weapon
You might re-do this when cable bots come out, but everyone builds his own defences too, cuz cable bots will eat most of the blocks and parts in game
Although the best of question will it be easy to launch the cable bot Because they are described as just sticking to creations
@@empireyouth5791 Make spawner drop them onto whells, since as shown in devblog they need time to attach, crawl around and pile up
You're forgetting that season 2 isn't coming for 50 years; then they will be too old to play.

Challenge idea: Whack-a-bot, there is a arena with some pits that bots are spawned in and everyone has to build a vehicle to destroy the bots as fast as they can, the one with the most bots destroyed wins

This might be my favorite episode of MPM
I think we need another round of this game. Please consider the following:
Allow the use of supdling-guns and shotguns, ( better chance of self inflicted damage too)
Allow the defender to build their own main tower ( with a block limit)
Have the two standard towers be placed by the defender to make it more strategic and TD like.
To Compensate for the increase in defensive capabilities you could increase the spawn rate of the animals
Make launch-able bait ( cardboard , corn) to lead the mass hoards of animals into Agro range again.
And maybe add some bots into the mix for spuds and giggles.
Also I can’t wait for all the corny jokes 🌽

let the defender summon bots to attack wocs in the corn version. but require them to do something that distracts them from defending, like hold a button down for 15 seconds.
it gives time for the attackers to get ahead in exchange for a better defense later.
also allow the attackers to use a preplaced turret somewhere to fight back the bots, it requires them to abandon their woc launcher for a while in order to weaken the defensive force.
this is the only tower defense i’d actually play

Multiplayer Monday idea: Be the Bowling Ball challenge. Y'all play some bowling, but you are the bowling ball. You must build vehicles that launch themselves forward. No brakes. No steering once you've started.

Idea for multi-player TrailMakers
Make vehicles that knocks on beach ball (TrailMakers beach ball spawner) and play beach ball with cars
Inspired when I was watching Real Civil Engineer unlocked beach ball spawner in stranded in space

MM: Hungry Hungry Munchkins edition.
You build a fenced in area where cows will continue to spawn at a certain pace, with another large pen on each side for capture.
Then each of you goes somewhere to build their contraption to get as many cows as possible into your pen by whatever means you choose. Must be mounted to the fence.
For best results, you may want to phone in one of the elusive 4th folks

idea: wok launchers vs castles on corn bases. Defend with the spud shotgun. you know you have to do this XD

Multi-Monday Idea:
You can do corn farm raids with cows, and maybe have more than one type of animal/bot being spawn on one vehicle. If you put lets say a greenie inside a build, the bots will attack until the get to the "Core" of the build.

The Omni race:
You all have to make a vehicle made out of one of every part, other than bearings of course, then you race them to see who wins. The fifteen minute build time wouldn’t work, so you’d just build till your done.

Challenge idea: Wocboy - put a couple wocs into a fragile pen like a basic wooden fence, then spawn haybots and totebots that one player has to defend against with a vehicle of some sort (no easy spudgun usage, but a mounted spudgun setup is allowed. Hard mode: motorcycles only, riding on a steel horse is thematic). Longest survival wins of course.
Should be interesting once the fence gets damaged and the wocs have space to run around in to make things difficult.
more pistons + less length = more speed. pistons slow down the longer they extend, sorta like the opposite of controllers. a max speed piston moving at 1 distance is much faster. I find 3 pistons to be the sweet spot for launching things but results may vary. god speed mechanic o7

You should do a woc saving game, person who keeps their woc alive the longest against bot launchers/deployers is the winner imagine it a lone woc and dwarf companion struggling to survive against waves of endless bots.

Idea for next Multiplayer Monday.. Do a double decker derby car, its double decker races are when you stack 2 cars on top of eachother. then you make it so the car on the top controls the steering & the botom car controls the throtle, there is no comunication between the two drivers.

Scrap man I just had an idea for a multiplayer Monday blimp wars use two large blimps and have explosive turrets on the side it would kinda be like the spud gun blimp wars except bigger blimps and explosive turrets

This would be a cool game mode for scrap mechanic like bots shoot waves of glowbugs at your towers and you can then get blocks to place back to “heal” your towers

I just realized something.
Glowbs take more spuds to kill than Haybots.
These tiny little glowy worm things are tankier than HAYBOTS.
That makes no sense
Looks like this is worth to do this again if the new enemy bots in the next update arrives, but you can use all the three weapons to defend your objective better.

I should have been 2v1 defending the towers because the amount of glowbugs is crazy and I think there would have been a slight chance of surviving longer like 0.7 seconds per glowbug (or 0.5,0.6) to balance it
