There was an amazing story out of China a few years ago where an individual had been hunched over their entire life but a team of surgeons managed to disassemble and reconstruct their spine to make them ambulatory. I hope a similar miracle can happen for this person.

No creo que sienta dolor, obviamente nació así. El cuerpo humano es increíble, a pesar de su deformidad, los órganos y huesos se van amoldando de manera que puedan cumplir con sus funciones. Claro que si desde pequeño hubiese recibido la atención necesaria , estaría en una mejor condición.

It's either all in your god's plan, or it isn't. Praying for a non-existent deity to intervene and alleviate his pain or correct his physical condition will literally do nothing. It blows my mind how people still buy into the omniscient/omnipotent/omnipresent god nonsense. It's insane.

If morality is a concern of yours, and truth is something you value, how can you not see the inherent danger in spreading misinformation, especially when that misinformation includes people's beliefs regarding what they should and shouldn't do while they're alive and what happens to them after they die? We should all take the time to consider the reasons why we believe the things we do, and nothing should be believed on faith alone. We should all strive to believe in as many true things and as few false things as possible. Creation myths shouldn't be indulged, and they should only be passed on as stories, not truth. People have the ability to learn right from wrong and lead good lives without accepting lies and without promoting those same lies.

I believe I’ve seen this particular young man after years of treatment- and he is able to stand up and have a normal life…I know-hard to believe-if not him? Someone very similar to this. Hope and compassion in itself is a great healer.

That chiropractor has magic hands. Gentle, precise manipulation that makes most of the "professionals" I've been to look like ham-handed buffoons.
I have personally seen severe kyphosis fixed.
Deep massage therapy, routine adjustments, etc and the woman in her 60’s, almost completely normal again last I saw her and she was still going to therapy.

Depending on ur age and the cobb angle. I'm 51 & my cobb angle is 104°. My hunchback is more on the left hand side. The "Scoliosis" i have is a S curvature of the spine. Mine is called Kyphoscoliosis. The only thing i can do, is physiotherapy & Hydrotherapy. Plus pain relief. Unfortunately my upbringing wasn't good & so i couldn't get the help i needed, while my bones were still growing, by the time i did get to see a specialist, it was too late for a back brace or surgery as my cobb angle at the time was already 73°. It was too severe and my spine was way out of line. I hope this bit of info helps.

I was supposed to have had 2 back surgeries. I ended up having 5 because the surgeon. My first surgeon messed it really up really bad. These screws were rolling around under my skin.Thank god..
I finally found a good surgeon after that but it still took four more surgeries

I don’t know if schools are still having 7th graders examined for this but, they used to do that as too many children were not getting the surgical help needed in order to correct this issue when they can. My daughter’s friend was detected for this in 7th grade and got two rods inserted down her spine. That kept her from a lifetime of misery.
I'm thinking stem cell therapy, unfortunately unavailable to the poor. I see people like this working to the best of their ability to support themselves, even to support a family. I live with this condition... I have multiple twists and a hunch into my right shoulder, I force myself to stand up straight, I also have ankolosing spondylitis markers, chiropractors won't touch me, but you'd never notice by looking at me... but I'm in agony 24/7... don't get me twisted, I'm a commercial diver, longhual trucker, welder of anything ish... plumber, electrician, framer. Roofer, mobile home guy! I can't afford a house... I can't even retire... but I will never stop doing what I do... because, I, love insuring, everyone else can make their dreams come true!!

A fusion is not something that is a long term fix as you would have to have it done multiple times, but you can get a disc replacement and that’s a long term fix, I know because I have multiple disc replacements

We had a guy come into surgery with kyphosis. He essentially broke his neck when he fell backward, and we ended up fusing it so he could look straight when he stood up.
