My First oil change - RoadRacing Ducati Moonster 900

  • It’s time I changed its oil, having covered a lot of miles this summer sun ☀️ on my Ducati I wanted to see if anything had been caught in the mesh filter or magnetic 🧲 sump bung.
    The oils change went well with only a tiny bit of confusion over the oil filter size, the Ducati filter used a different filter removal tool than the high flow filter which is really odd because you would imagine they both have the same circumference but clearly Ducati filters do their own thing.
    I was really pleased to complete the oil and thought it change and see that the mesh filter had only caught some tribe. Bond sealant from construction of the engine had no metal particles.

    Really nice video. I'm always impressed by your ability to film with one hand and be a careful mechanic with the other one.

      @@JamesWarrior Weird to see the oil so black but yeh bike had a lot of warm ups before I bought it, like weekly so maybe super rich then shut off. Looking forward to its next oil change to see if it’s improved
