Why this author wants people to remember the Capitol Theatre

Author and history buff Cynthia Henry still has elaborate decorations, like gargoyles and chandeliers, that were saved from Halifax’s Capitol Theatre before it was torn down on May 11, 1974. The ornate movie theatre operated for 44 years at the corner of Barrington Street and Spring Garden Road.
