      it is absolutly pointless what you fgolks are pointing out, because the reason is you have no clue whatsoever.
      on a track you need the brakes, which this car lacks because its not made for the track like the plaid with package.
      in the real world you never need the brakes.
      with amazing brakes the heating is gone.

Regen is more useful and efficient in low speed driving. Furthermore Teslas dont actually regen to a high degree. Something like the Ioniq 5 N regens significantly more with the N pedal or whatever. The ioniq 5 n is an absolute exception, it is unfair to compare other vehicles with this one in terms of price and real track performance. Nobody can build and offer a car with this skills unter 90k, personally I don't think Hyundai either. It is an image carrier.

    Yes, +60 °C is full power limit (UK owner asked Tesla). Nice lap for a stock car and there is apparenly what what you get - heatpump is underpowered to could batrery down. I did not know, that in +50°C the power restriction kicks already in. The only way would be modding of the heat pump and/or intercooler on battery loop.
    The car is very quiet over 200 km/h speeds. Stock suspension bottoms out relatively easily on top speeds (from other videos), so be careful out there if not upgraded.

    • @techevo
      @techevo 3 месяца назад +5

      Modding the cooling circuit only gives you marginal gains as the limits are hard coded into the software, where the charge/discharge power of the battery is measured and once a ' summed limit' is exceeded, power is de-rated.

    It’s a great verdict. It’s really fast in public roads and has a great seating position + visibility.
    Breakers can be changed.
    You could either start with a lower SOC and take in more regen (save the brakes) but also risk overheating Battery.
    I Brakes are upgraded, turn off regen, start with full battery (higher SOC means higher voltage, thus lower Amps and lower heat loss).
    You also might wanna start with a colder battery (can it pre cool?)
    I’d be curious to see the differences.

    I believe Brembo supplies both the calipers and the pads, so I'm not sure why Brembo wouldn't spec a better pad compound. Unless Tesla asked them to prioritize characteristics like brake noise and dust. Of course its possible there is also a big difference in cost, and Tesla wanted to hit a certain price point for this car.

Honestly yes brakes still shit, but only if you drive like a race driver, full throttle brake just inside the corner and full throttle again. I made a nice funny drive in country roads with some corners just by using 90% regenerative braking. Its not like an M3/M2 but its fine! You can have a nice daily with some pepper! My verdict, if only brakes would be better it would be very very hard to compete with it price/performance. But if you have an extra 6k to put some great brakes problem solved!

    2:33 - Misha i believe the reason the tires are so good (other than them obviously being Pirellis) is those are the EV specific tires that were originally developed in conjunction with Lucid for the mighty 900v Air Sedan, because IIRC that's the vehicle on which those EV specific Pirellis made their debut with the car's debut back in 2021 with those ones now being specifically tweaked for the HM3P. for additional reference, Pirelli also just worked with Ford/Stard to make EV specific tires for their latest 1600HP F150 Lightning Electric Super Truck which recently ran Pikes Peak 2024 with Romain Dumas driving (again) taking this years Top Time Overall with an 8min 53sec.553...
    so indeed the current tire supplier to Formula 1 has SIMULTANEOUSLY been "super interested" in gathering data from high TQ/heavy weight EV's for some time, and directing it back into making a better EV specific tire for Production cars.
