I subscribed Ian! I'm not sure how much time I'll be able to devote to watching. I am sure that I will see what you've got to say from time to time. Take care.
Whoa! That TFF box set! Nice score, man! I happen to have “Sea Song” on a two-7” set. But I imagine that box has all kinds of extra material, Ian! Still can’t wait for a vinyl/box re-release of the TFF album, “Everybody Loves A Happy Ending” … it’s a psychedelic masterpiece! Peace to you, Ian! And congratulations on 500+ subs! More exciting future projects for you! 🙂
People seem to universally love the music that they were surrounded with from about age 10 to 20. I turned 10 in 1970 - and that decade of music is my favourite.
Hi Ian .. really enjoying your content. I'm pondering whether to invest in a surround system and wondered if you might do a quick run through of your set up as I love the idea of "immersive listening" and, having seen your collection, it is clear we have very similar tastes in music. By the way you're in for a treat if you've not yet been drawn into the magnificent world of Hogarth-era Marillion ...
One of my favorite surround sound is Edgar Winter's They Only Come Out At Night on dvd 5.1.All you have to do is listen to Frankenstein in surround OMG is that good.By far my favorite surround disc I have and I have several 5.1
Btw. The Hot Rats book is great. Cool pictures and the interview is a lot of fun. It has neato insight into the album on occasion. It really puts the reality of how it was made into perspective
@@scottstorey it’s a great set ! I’ll be honest the repetition of material wears on me - I don’t enjoy playing “spot the difference” among 6 different Billy the Mountains, but the Rainbow Theater 71 gig is a treat.
Nice to see some Residents !!! Also Magma. What about covering them in the future ?!

@@andersdottir1111 I genuinely think there is good music being made today, I just have trouble finding things that stick with me
Calm, cool, and collected reviews and insight. Well done and congrats! These are the droids we’re looking for. 😊

Top of my list but gotta get kitty teefs cleaned first! That Tears box was a bit of an impulse buy but it is SWEET.
Planet Gong box is super expensive now. I didn’t get it. Jealous!
I wanna say that was my payment for the Moon Men 3.5 EP !!
How do you like the Mothers '1971'? I have a bunch of FZ already, so it's not like I NEED anything, but...

@@ShedSoundsMediawithIanBeabout That's kind of how I felt about the Roxy box set. Too much repetition of songs that really didn't change much
