Just watched Harry's Garage review of the BMW i5 M60, he seems to think this BMW is a basically a Shed. For me its a car I'm not interested in, albeit I value your reviews , I like the structure of your presentations. I know like all you -tubers you have a bias or shall we say favourites. Always remember Perfection is the Enemy of Good.. Appreciate all your efforts..you can't please all, all of the time.
Read recently about Tesla going up to 8k and a smart Electric for 5k insurance - reason they were giving is they cannot tell if the batteries have faults / price of parts and repairs.@@AutoEV
I’d be less annoyed by the speed limit bongs if cars measured their actual speed. My Niro indicates 2-3 mph faster than it’s actually going, so the bong is actually warning me that I’m only doing less than the speed limit
The fact that the BYD Seal AWD Excellence has similar performance, better range and similar usability and at literally half the price shows what a market disruptor the BYD seal is.
Looks unispring with a Kia look inside with bland colour matching as usual ,still the ugly face treatment. Not a place I'd like to spend a lot of time in and at that price level there are better options. At least its not another huge SUV.
Yeah, not even close. There are too many design flaws and shortfalls regarding this vehicle design. I recommend waiting a few years and then we’ll try again. We don’t need paid advertising of a vehicle. We need a brutally honest perspective.
This is not a paid advertisement, but an opinion. I happen to think that the i5 is a great car. But of course, you are entitled to disagree. However, don’t make assumptions or allegations just because my thoughts don’t align with yours.
It has a very clever park assist mode where the car will use the cameras to judge the space and park itself in the slot as neatly as possible without your input.
Very expensive, no rear frontal airbags, big car from outside but disapointed inside! No benefits from a original eletric car! Great power, great drive but not my pick! BMW has to move to non ICE plataforms to compete with contenders!
Which contenders ? Eqe has basically no boot space, Teslas are falling apart and Audi seem to be stuck on SUV’s which will have an electric consumption of at least 50% more. This car is still engaging to drive yet confortable. Best choice in its class, just ordered mine 😊
Waaaaaaaaaay to looooooong front. Waaaaaaaaaay to short boot. Like the i4 much better. Despite its ICE brothers also a good EV. Still non beat the EV vibe and originality that i3 had!
Absolutely brilliant M electric ❤ it. Especially in Matt grey. Can’t fault it has everything for a performance Driver. Very soon we may have a electric M3 that matches the petrol version. Can’t wait. Brilliant work B.M.W.
I have to say BMW will never mess up the 3 and 5....this car really is the perfect package.....might beat the Ionq 6 actually now thinking of it....really pleased the 5 continues to set the standard....great review again Brian
I've found myself really disappointed with BMW's long-term support for their IDrive stuff; affectively whatever you ship you get for the rest of the product lifespan. Which may be fine for an ICE model - but for EVs there are so many features, they are lacking that it will be stuck in the past, for example: the ability to plan a complex route in your phone with charging points, save it for reuse, and then select it in the car whenever you want to do a repeated journey. Or even just to get the charging speed in mph rather than kWh. Then I would like to get a review of the drive in terms of power consumption - when was good when was bad what was your speed at the time rather than some little animation on the dashboard while you were driving where looking at the animation is not what you should be doing while you're driving. I'm sure they are aware of the issues and will be addressing them in future - but I and owners of existing models are never going to see them. I would be happier if they improved the car to CarPlay/android auto integration so that apps running in your phone know about the charge state of your vehicle and can take over the work
Two serious caveats after testing it extensively: road noise unacceptable penetrating driver and passenger doors and then NO mention of safety -why no rear frontal airbags? The car does 0-60mph in 3 secs but crash safety ends at 40mph!
So has this relegated the Taycan Cross Tourismo to 2nd place and the I-Pace to 3rd place respectively?
That matte frozen grey with the 20" bi-color aero wheels looks fantastic
I was very impressed with my test drive. Did a custom order in October. Amazing car.

Would love to know your thoughts my friend on insurance companies either not insuring or charging 5-10k a year...
I’ve heard of scary premiums (and refusing to cover) on Range Rovers. What car are you referring to?

Great review but this car is too long for European parking spaces, unless you have a chauffeur

Golf bats - learnt stuff

I agree. That's ridiculous
A Scot that has no clue of golf! Sacrilege!!!
Waste of a good walk……😉
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Much appreciated.
What a waste of time ...that money Is ridiculous
Not as much as a new M5 which is only slightly more powerful. And less money than the equivalent Mercedes-AMG EQE53. Everything is relative.

I agree with you that this is definitely their best looking model as of late, but I also like the styling of the others. I think they’re all gorgeous.
Those ranges are pretty impressive
Great review. Is it too big now?
▪︎▪︎▪︎ Design is so great 🎉
like your presentation style. liked and subscribed.
Thank you for watching and taking the time to send such a kind comment. Nice to have you join us!
Great review 👍🏼
Fabulous car but cannot justify the price 😞
Agree. For example base Lucid air pure AWD is in states just 75k$. That would be much better deal..
@@sailingandsomejokesyou can't compare US prices with UK prices.
Sure you can. What would be fair transportation cost for lots of cars into europe? Sure not 30k€
Looks like a Kia reject. They really need new designers at BMW.
