Hi RMPV Creations. I specialize in teaching drawing with graphite pencils. However, I'm having to reinvent my livelihood with Corona Virus cancelling my in-person drawing lessons. What is likely to happen over the next month is a chance for me to film more videos, and I will include some on colored pencils and watercolors. If you subscribe and click the notification bell, you'll see when those post! Thanks for the question and thanks for watching!
Hi can we have a tutorial about shading with sharpening pencils and without sharpening every time because I am trying a lot to practice a shading but I am not getting that pencil value with both types to get I am using a lot of pressure so please
I always sharpen my pencils and keep them sharp while shading. It takes practice to learn to lighten your pressure on the pencil. Try these videos: ruclips.net/video/B3IcruRvx28/видео.html and studio.ruclips.net/user/videoQ-0jTphdXWU/edit/basic
Hello ma'am, I am a beginner I just bought my pencil set but that charcoal pencils are very hard to draw... Will u guide me to how to use charcoal pencil?
Charcoal is a very different medium than graphite, and I don't have any videos on charcoal pencils at this time. I wish I could help more, but I don't have time to teach every art medium! The videos I make take so much time to prepare, record & edit. Charcoal can be very rewarding to work with, so I hope you keep experimenting and stick with it. I am sending you luck to keep going!
@@Lzmstudio thanku ma'am I am just facing one problem while using this...it is very hard to draw on paper.. Is this normal or only i am facing this problem 😅?
Shraddha Akre what brand of pencil and paper are you using? Does the charcoal have a grade (HB, B, 2B, 4H) on the label? When you say hard to draw do you mean the charcoal is hard or describe the difficulties more specifically? Usually charcoal is soft and crumbly which makes it difficult to control. Are they charcoal pencils or sticks?
@@Lzmstudio The brand m using is ARTISTIC. And m using normal drawing paper Yes nothing happens when I use charcoal on paper .I mean, no matter how hard I try, nothing comes up on paper . Is all this happening because the pencil is new?
Shraddha Akre hmm that is confusing. Is it a pencil or raw stick? I don’t know that brand and it doesn’t come up in an internet search. Many brands are less expensive and have these types of problems unfortunately. Have you tried sharpening it (or breaking it if it a stick) to get a fresh surface of the charcoal exposed? Sometimes humidity in paper causes problems. It’s not uncommon to run into really bad supplies, unfortunately. I’d look for trusted brands that a local art store recommends if there is one near you? Internet purchases are sometimes poor quality and break a lot or are too hard to use.
Each pencil can have it's own particular use, depending on the subject you're drawing or texture you're hoping to create. My standards are that I use an H, HB or B for outlining usually, and then a softer pencil like a 3, 4 or 5B for shading usually. Best thing to do is use each pencil a lot for quick sketches, so you get to know what they are each capable of and then you'll get an idea of what to use where and when. Hope that helps!
@@Lzmstudio you are welcome and look up on Google Wright's original art it's a business website I put some of my drawings on thanks for your help much appreciated.

LZM Studio thank you😀 , I'm just starting my little journey in school, nothing too major. It's really helpful when gaining advice from professionals 🖖🏻
Here is a link to the same set I used in this video: amzn.to/3vd3dz1 I do see all the same pencils are included in this larger set that also has colored pencils and a fancy box for not too much more, as well: amzn.to/3gdzqly These pencils are made in England so you might be able to purchase them elsewhere too, Derwent is the brand name. Thanks for watching!

Please would you tell me what's your favorite pencil brand? I want to buy a new set but not sure....Faber 9000, Derwent, Staedtler? Any other? Thanks in advance
Thanks for asking! My pencil reviews are here and by far, my favorite set is the Mitsubishi Hi Uni and my favorites to buy individually are Tombow Mono Zeros! Faber Castell 9000 are nice and consistent too, but run very hard compared to most sets. ruclips.net/p/PLmuk19K4PkT7A3ANOYYenQ7YChiuyQSug

@@Lzmstudio Thanks so much for your information. I really like your videos.
very good video ma'am , I'm 16 and i am in drawing and sketching for a long time now but i'm still confused which pencil should i use to draw the rough sketch , then detailing , then shading and then detailing ...i usually use 2b or 6b or hb for the whole drawing amd sometimes 10b for shading....but still dont know which pencil should i use....plz help me here
I use a 2H, H, F, HB or B for outlining and 2B-10B for shading (on most things). Check out this video, it might help more? ruclips.net/video/jLrnDFN7nZI/видео.html
You'll find there is a bigger difference if you skip some #'s and buy a 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B or H, B, 3B, 5B etc. than between the ones that are one level different like B, 2B, 3B, 4B...
I saw this set in a art shop but it's pretty expensive to me :/ anyway it looks great nice vid btw I think I'll try to get this set still :) tho I have another set with lesser pencils
I've actually started to prefer 2 other brands of pencils, the Tombow Mono Zero pencils and the Mitsubishi Hi-Uni pencils. They sharpen better than the derwent pencils (the wood is higher quality), so they last longer, which is more for your money! If you want, check out those reviews, ruclips.net/video/Re028qdYQQM/видео.html and ruclips.net/video/0Ivw3BUoKZk/видео.html Also, if you are on a budget, buy individual pencils, rather than a set, and just replace them as needed. Start with a range of pencils, 2H, H, HB, B, 2B, 4B, 6B and 8B. Price them out online and see if it is cheaper to buy just those few, than a set. Then I just replace the ones I use the most .
Agreed- mostly in that they don't sharpen as well and leads break more. This was one of my first videos and since then have reviewed the most popular brands of pencils, which you can find in this playlist: ruclips.net/p/PLmuk19K4PkT7A3ANOYYenQ7YChiuyQSug :)
