      I think it's because samoans have more fluidity and freedom of body movement compared to the tongan way of dancing which is stiff

      @@isaialeuila9327 beg your pardon, it ain't stiff. It is graceful moves. Keeping your legs and feet together, like a proper Lady should, not really jumping around. It's softer and slower movements, making it graceful. It's a reflection of virtues and values. Stiff is a word for other things, but you can't call Tongan dancing stiff. Far from it friend. If someone is stiff, they are probably doing it wrong. Or dead.
