Thank you so much for this video it was perfect.
One important detail is that you first push the power button to turn the unit on, let go, THEN press and hold the power button to reset it. If you just press and hold it one time period, it won't reset.
I finally found the anwser to the blinking F. Awesome fix, ty.

Hi All, I have HP00amd had the same issue, tried doing this with Cold Purifier setting on and it was getting switched off! Then I just tried it in Hot mode at 21 degrees, it just worked ... cheers 😊

Thanks for this video. Is this specifically for the HP01? I’ve got this model and haven’t yet been prompted to change the filter. I’ve used it regularly for 2 years in my small office. It’s been a great product.

with our remote? We have the TP02 I believe has wifi so.. just go into settings IF you have wifi and .. super easy.

Could you tell me how my filters still say 100% over 18-2 years of use. I've purchased new filters and carbon filters to go in my Dyson pure cool. It was given to me by a friend and I hoovered the filters with a strong " James" hoover. Now on the app it still says 100%. They still look a little grubby, so surely they must be down slightly. Any advice??
If you cleaned the filter and reset the "F". The system thinks it's a new filter, but it takes about 24hr to re-calibrate. So it might shows you 100% now but it might show you 50% the next day.

How do I get rid of the F3 error??
I changed the filter, but the F3 shows up and the fan just shuts off! Dx

But the head function will show an “E”and then my heat will blow cold! How do I fix this ?

When I press and hold my power button the fan just turns off. I do not get any type of countdown.
There is a few people having the same issues and I don't know why. You might have to contact Dyson.

Turn it off first, Then hold the power button down... 😅
It'll come on and the filter countdown will start till its blank...

Some people had the same issues as you. They unplug the unit and plugged it back in and then tried it.

I have this same issue, I have the HP01 (vj8-us) and still can't get the filter indicator to reset lol.
Yup same here with the HP-01. Changed the filter but nothing will make it reset. Press the power button and it instantly turns off.
Try unplugging it, waiting about a min. Plug it back in and then try to reset it.
Thanks to all for the suggestions. I tried them ALL and nothing worked. Finally got in touch with Dyson customer service, and after they walked me through 45 minutes of troubleshooting, they told me what I knew already....it's not the filter, it's the machine. Now waiting on a replacement...

It could also be the battery in your remote.

@@JasonReset HP00 I think. The manual still says to press and hold the power button on the remote for six seconds. But it doesn't work.
