I dont know how i found you but your hysterical and very good at explaining. I dont intend to do wallpaper but i was on a call on Redington beach and seen some of this painted with a very thick primer, looked like kilz2. When i noticed that it was painted wallpaper i wanted to cry. Thanks for teaching me its called grass cloth and not réed wallpaper lol.
I'm not usually a fan of grass cloth but that looks great! I just papered a recess with some paper by a company called Rasch. First time I've used good quality wallpaper and the difference between hanging that and the cheaper stuff I've used is just night and day. Good pper from now on for me. Tha ks for all your tips!
Hello - can you tell me the style / pattern # that was? I just bought AB2195 that looks almost identical to that. Thank you for this video! Getting a little nervous to do this myself … but I’m gonna do it anyway!
How do you prevent a white line/fracture at the seams after it is fully dried? Sometimes it looks great and then a few days or weeks later a line appears.
Hi Spencer just watching your video ask your friend Phil in UK to send you a 7 inch felt roller designed for soft faced paper and grass cloth type papers most useful Alan in Gibraltar
Grass cloth. No. I’m sorry. It’s beautiful what you did but I can’t. Lol. I have grasscloth-induced PTSD from the first house we bought in 1995. It was built in 1984 so it had grass cloth and “library panels” in the living area. I had pets. I had to vacuum my walls. (And the popcorn ceiling). Also, every time I dusted the paneling, I knocked the bottom of the paper so the string pieces would fray.
This video is excellent! The tips and instructions have given me the confidence to tackle my project. Great job, Spencer! 💪
I feel confident to tackle my project thanks to your step by step instructions with detailed explanations!
This video is well explained and I'm pretty sure I can do it

You are amazing
we moved to 🇺🇸 in 1992, and it was very popular back then…
Spencer, how long do you recommend the paper "book" for to complete the saturation/expansion?
My exact same question
