    How funny...I mix-and-matched my Aorus 48" mounts, too. Sim-Lab triple stand, used the external uprights, in addition to the same TrakRacer mounts (and got their stand-alone 80" TV stand to replace the center). Perfect mounting setup, and got the bezels so perfectly aligned that I could use a single strip of electrical tape down the backside of the displays to make everything accurate.
    Those TrakRacer brackets were perfect, so we ended up with almost the same setup from different vendors.

      @@AeroVeloce That was for sure a struggle. Looks like your room has a bit more space in it than mine. never did get the splitters to work, but those TrakRacer 80" monitor stands along with the "long" horizontal bars with VESA mounts actually does work for big displays like these. So many options, we are in a great time for sim racing. Thanks for so many things that were direct inspirations for my rig overhaul!

    Advanced Sim Racing triple is rock solid and they can cut pieces down to the size you need. I use this triple stand with 48” oled monitors. I also selected their ultra adjustable vesa mounts but needed vesa bracket size adapters to go from 300mm to 100mm vesa

      I’m interested as well. I just ordered 3 of the LG 48gq900 as the current Black Friday deal at BestBuy is just too good to pass up. So now I’m trying to decide my mounting approach. If that track racer mount works then that is an interesting path. What angle are you able to get? And pics would be great if you are able? Thanks

    • @BrunoPiovan
      @BrunoPiovan Год назад

      @@notmuch7701I pulled the trigger and bought the trak racer triple screen free stand that was a bit cheaper for black Friday. I believe it will be fine and the monitors will fit, I also have 3 LG 48GQ900 that are currently on ikea tables lol. When I get the stand delivered I'll post an update here. If the monitors fit, I'll make a video showing that, otherwise, I'll see if buying longer extrusion profiles will work. I'll post an update here regardless.

    • @BrunoPiovan
      @BrunoPiovan Год назад +1

      Update: Quick answer: 3x 48gq900 monitors can be installed BUT... detailed answer: depending on the angle you position the monitors, the stand can be very heavy in front and may easily topple over. So what I did was buy 2 aluminum bars 4080, 1m each, to use instead of the feet and placed the feet where the arms are, as they are slightly longer but help a lot. I also bought 3 adjustable VESA adapters to help with alignment... Overall, it was a lot of work, really a lot! But in the end, it worked out... If you're going to do the same, be careful not to make it easy to topple forward because of the weight.

    Ive been watching your videos multiple times the past week as this is the build im currently on coming from triple 32in 1440p 170hz. First did you come from a high hz screen/screens prior to this and do you feel much of a loss coming down to 120fps max?
    I was thinking the clarity you get from OLED coming from VA my self should limit my ability to see the drop coming from 170hz (i get around 150 to 160fps at 1440p triples) down to 120hz which is what my LG C1s sre capable of. I understand higher FPS guves you than just motion clairty but thats one of the main reason people lile to game at higher fps but i would think 120fps would be more than enough.
    Hope that makes sense i have dyslexia and dont have the best grammer either🍻

    Hey bud! Just picked up 3 of these for my new rig!! Question, I also have a 4090/7800X3D. I'm reading some people had issues with G-sync and surround not working on these? • @AeroVeloce

      I don’t use surround. I either use SRWE or modify the ingame render files to display at the correct resolution Dan Suzuki has a guide on how to use triples without surround but I use slightly different setting with SRWE than him. The monitors I run at fulls res 120hz at 12 bit color in nvidia control panel. And I never had any issues with gsync.

      I typically get about 60-70 fps on race starts. They’re heavily cpu bound. I’ve been meaning to optimize my Iracing settings to fix it but haven’t spent the time on it yet. Gpu is definitely not the issue though as it’s plenty powerful enough.
