Nothing inspires me to play better chess more than a nice Agadmator video analysis. Well done as always!
🇳🇴 format I like. More tournaments with this format would be cool.
"Do you win every queen and pawn endgame because you're Magnus Carlsen? Or are you Magnus Carlsen because you win every queen and pawn endgame?"
The answer is yes!
No, he resigned 2.3 seconds left with handshake.
Agad, when you say "it's completely new game", does it include the consequent moves? Like, for example, if a player makes the same moves, but in a different order - do you declare a "new" game at first deviation, or at the last one?
Mostly last one
It's super rare that a position deviates significantly to get back to the same stuff. Mostly happens via different move order in the opening phase in known positions.
@@agadmator I`ve been watching for many years, and miss the good ol` days of "you are excellent subscribers". 👍👍
Its called by "Transposition of Moves".
@@agadmator Cool, thanks for the response!
Magnus wins every queen and pawn endgame.
Me:Why?
Agadmator: because he is Magnus
I has to be very frustrating for Fabiano being always behind Magnus
Chess is a ruthless game
Yea it has to suck knowing you're probably a top 5 player of all time, being a super prodigy and one of the highest rated ever and never being able to taste gold.
Espescially from a legacy sense, everybody knows Usain Bolt, very few people know
Yohan Blake even though he's the 2nd fastest man ever
Imagine being able to take the World Classical Champion to 12 classical draws *in a row* - and still never getting it
I mean. A lot of people are behind Magnus.
I borrow from The wonderful Ben Finegold: "Truth hurts..."
will you cover the 100% accuracy game by Ju Wenjun?
Ju wenjun played a perfect match can we get that #suggestion
#suggestion
Use #suggestion so that Agad will know that you want to see this match...
i was trying to remember the hashtag thanks guys
It didn't finish perfect. But yeah, 100% accuracy for quite a while.
Perfect against competition below top 500. She wouldn't be able to win an average open tour as a 2500 GM.
This magnus dude seems really good. Looks like he has a bright future ahead of him.
I don't know if you meant to reference it, but the title reminded me an old quote of Bogoljugov. When asked how he wins all these games, he said: well, when I am white it is because I have the advantage of the 1st move... and when you are black? (came the inevitable question) - when I am black, because I am Bogoljugov (was the answer).
7:07 He could go for taking pawn on e3 and perpetual. I assume it was not enough to draw a game as you mentioned?
Praggnanandhaa was 3 points behind. He only had chance if Magnus lost in the classical. With the draw in the classical, Magnus made 1 point, so only Hikaru could reach Magnus, if he won the classical against Praggnanandhaa.
Tell me, what was so brilliant about Caruana moving his king into the danger zone instead of away from danger?
Talk about Nodirbek vs Parham please
#suggestion
I always expect Fabi to surprise everyone and defeat Magnus, but he is like his Achilles' heel
He resigned before the timeout

Agad doesn’t sleep
Can we please a make a great Ding Liren video to send him our love? I have a feeling that this beautiful human being may be going through a depressive phase in life, and we need to pick our champions up. I remember that time when he resigned a game to help you understand the depth of a position.
If he has a depressive phase he most likely won't watch that Video.
If you are depressed the least thing you care about is praise.
While there is no telling what a person may or may not do, I think those are the phases when one especially needs to be reminded how loved he is. The whole chess world came down on him this Norway championship, and I for one would want to remind him that he got himself there, and he is a resilient enough to hold that position.
Is Chinese government who has him under pressure
@@muhammadwasee9454 what about leaving that man alone.
Greatest of all time.
Won the norway chess.
Silenced haters
He is the goat.
Wow, this guy Magnus Carlsen is pretty good. I wonder if he'll ever become world chess champion.
I hear he's not motivated to go that far, sadly.
sadly wasted talent.. he getting old and lazy.. won't make World Champion effort..
@@GoodOldFella970 Why does he need to? Magnus has been WCC and decided he can do better with his time than spending months preparing for one match. I still remember the Nepo match. Brutal.
Welcome to the internet
He's a 5 time world championship and highest rated player of all time.
Queens and pawns both speak for themselves.

Where is that character? Long time no see?
@@theman7955
Hans is on fire lately, he's coming back to 2700+
Yesterday he was 2699.3 but today lost to " pentala harikrishna "
And he's now 2694.5
He won 2 tournaments this year
Grenke open section and qualified to masters section to face Magnus next year
And he won a Serbian tournament
Now he's playing in the french top 16 teams
And he's doing great for his team.
Thank you Antonio

Fabi keeps missing the move that I can find and loses! No pressure for me just watching on RUclips, of course, but sucks because I like Fabi.
I don't think overall, anyone gets anywhere near MC in the history of chess, specifically in end games.
it looked like Fabi had this under control, and then exposed his king to attack. why?
My boy is 4 beers in here
"Magnus. amazing game today, tell me how do you do it?"
"Because, when the city needs me... I'm Magnus"
"What?"
"I'M MAGNUSSSSSS"
#suggestion Hoffmann vs Petrov 1844 (Petrov's Immortal)
king and pawn endgame with magnus is a contract signed personally by the devil
THE GOAT OF GOATS !!!
Fabi is my favorite chess player, also hes the best chess player of all time… whos never won anything
The Chess Engine thinks everything is a draw --
It sounds like Engines need a new parameter, where it can evaluate the position in terms of the Rating of each player for the given position.
Of course everything is drawn of it's Stockfish vs Stockfish. But what about if it's Magnus vs Fabi? Lol.
I think that may be a fun alternate tool for chess engines, to see if the position has a slight favor for a better player, or if it truly is a drawn position with reasonable play.
This would take machine learning and it would be very expensive
@permanentlybored195 Maybe. Maybe not. It could just be like a filter, or quick math conversion, or a secondary figure that can be multiplied by the difference in player rating.
At a certain point, chess engine position analysis becomes useless if it only takes into account the playing strength of the engine itself. There becomes a disconnect as the Engine says a winnable position for a human is "drawn," or that a position is winnable when no human would ever be able to convert it over the board.

Nice effort by Fabiano he kept it close it seems a lot of GMs miss that crucial move when they need it like Qd3 credit Magnus and lack of time on that one Spoiler alert ‼️ Magnus has won the event not sure exactly what happened with Hikaru Pragg but Hikaru did not win all Hail the Goat 😅♟️
Please upload vaishali games also
Magnus stuff.
Round 3: Magnus is washed.
Round 10: The GOAT 🐐
Magnus is SO much better than Fabi it hurts.
#suggestion Juwenjun's game.
5:51 i was screaming for fabi to play fast as he was low on time and also just Qd3. Instinctively It looked just draw with controlling d pawn and marching forward own b pawn. But why the hell fabi played b1+ instead. Sometime so frustrating fabi is under time pressure i feel like i can play better than him lol😂
In the Endgame God's have placed Carlsen💯❤️
Paul Morphy . My inspiration 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Fabi 100% looks the most like a chess master should look.
tobe honest, Fabi looks like a midget goblin !!
Can we stop spoiling the result in the title of the video? It’s very annoying already knowing how the video will end
Usually people come here after seeing the actual games/standings.
@@vishnup2009 but I don’t have time to spend hours watching the game itself, I’m very busy so the only way I keep up with the chess world is through Antonio’s videos. I’m sure I’m not the only one. It kills all hype of what went down even before I click on the video.

Maybe I’m a purist, but every high profile match coming down to Armageddon is becoming anticlimactic and boring. Less time for GMs to analyze positions means they’re utilizing mostly instinct, preparation, and memorization rather than finding interesting lines. Not to mention it’s a somewhat different skill set than classical, so having primarily classical competitions come down to blitz just feels disingenuous.
it's one tourney
I hate how schools and colleges give students a year's time before conducting final (year-end) exams, the students who study more get more marks and it's quite unfair because even dumb students who work hard can get as many marks as intelligent/clever students, instead they should give only 2 weeks times so that students who can show their out-of-the-box-thinking gets benefitted...
I am reporting you for cheating. It looked like you already had the video before Magnus even finished his game . WTF ??!!
The game just happened dawg take a min
Why don't Fabi, Nepo & Hikaru buy out Liren? Each pays 333,333 USD. (Or 499,999 USD or whatever.) They have a playoff. Winner faces Gukesh.
Each of these 5 players benefit. FIDE & audience benefit from having a better match. Hopefully it's not that no one is doing what everyone wants just because of something written in some book.
In fact 4 of the 5 players actually lose money, and no one's hiding anything. They get FIDE's consent.
How do you spell "Magnus"? *M-o-z-a-r-t*
How do you spell "Fabiano"? *S-a-l-i-e-r-i*

"...I don't wanna trick you guys..."; After years of learning from you, I've come to the conclusion that you would never do such a thing.
So instead, you might upgrade your English by saying, "...I wouldn't want to give (...pass on inaccuracies.) inaccurate info."
You have significantly improved your English when compared to your first RUclips videos. Keep it up. I think you are now ready to apply for a job as a commentator with a major media organisation covering key matches like the World Championships.
Arjun becomes number 4 throwing Nepo and Abusattarov
Praggu become the first player EVER to beat Carlsen, Fabiano, Ding an Hikaru in a single tournament
Why do these modern day player feels so weak compared even to the ordinary GM from the past … I mean max euwe or capablanka or simslov or natzmedinov would have played this game to a draw with much more classical moves …. Karpov and Fischer would have continued this game for 3 years .. what is with this low quality games with basic mistakes from these so called super gm? Absolutely disgusting 😂 Fabi missed a perpetual … Magnus played such weak moves … ding does not spots mate in 1 and Hilaru making beginners mistakes …
And in soccer, England just got outplayed and defeated by Iceland, despite every England player being better on paper than every Icelandic player. These things happen. Humans are not machines.
