Incredible video. Just became a bartender and wasn't expecting a drink recommendation on top of a great cigar. This just shot up to my favorite Rocky Patel stick, and one of my top 10's at the moment.
I picked up 3 of them around 3 years ago and left two of them in my humidor since then. Finally smoking one of the remaining two tonight with some woodford reserve.
Another great video. The ALR has been on my list to get. Also, I am going to have to start making the Sazerac. I love rye and absinthe. Not sure why this cocktail has not been on my radar. Guess I am too focused on my Manhattans and Boulevardiers. Thank you for the great content. Cheers.

I don’t have a ton of experience beyond the CAO and a couple of others. I’ve always enjoyed the CAO Brazil but probably need to revisit for a good perspective.
Man, I hate to hear that! It's a bummer because sometimes you don't know where they came from or how they were stored, etc. Hopefully one of these days you'll be able to get ahold of a great one!
I like it a lot! If it came down to getting one or the other, I wouldn't pass up getting the first edition ALR. Plenty of age on it, and I think it's smoking exceptionally nice right now. But as always, get both if you can! Haha.
@the_cigarbar I got the 7 year Connecticut and the 2nd edition today haha. Gonna grab the white label at some point before I smoke the 3. I'm exited now!!

any insights on Brazilian cigars?

The 2 I smoked were so horrible we couldn’t smoke them very ashy like a ashtray very weird but the rocky 60 year was great and tasty

what are your thoughts on their 10 year white label? idk which one i should get since iv only had the second edition.
