Rick Malchow oh, defiantly. I actually like a lot of modern music, but for an old head it may be a bit harder to find music they enjoy, but it’s still out there
This music is beautiful, Problem is the radio won't play it! They are all with the exception of a few controlled by corporate money. I's a dictatorship dictated by the money.
Her singing is soooo clean! Crazy good technique and pitch. Shout out to the big dude on the trombone... that was some good trombonin'.
Trombone solo was tight and swingin'. Great to see that kind of playing on national television.

Nuthin like tight playin, everybody swinging, we all got the musical chops playin band. Lastly Rachael Price..ooweee. I was 1 week shy of seeing her at the Kennedy Center's Live From Here with Chris Thile, when Covid19 hit and shut everything down in D.C. Her voice has such personality and colors. Almost feel like her voice is winking at us saying "I got this." and it so does , it really does. She is the grand dame and full arbiter of her instrument. Throwing my virtual shoe at this performance. Loved it!!!

It's Thanksgiving 2020. This year, Rachel Price and Lake Street Dive have joined me (at least their music has). I have been listening all week to this wonderful woman and watching her videos. This is my latest discovery and I will keep my eye out for her for sure.
I've always loved Rachael Price's voice.

It's her RHYTHM that blows me away. There's nothing about her that isn't over-the-top amazing, but her swing is unstoppable

One of the best records of the year. Real (actual) talented musicians & singer!
Vilray wrote almost all the songs on that record, and they feel like the real deal, with a few sly lyric nods to the 21st century. He's a treasure and a triple threat of a musician. Rachel is obviously great; Vilray's talents take bit more effort to appreciate, especially in this context.
What a voice. Best I've heard in years. Band is cooking too

We nighly try to hear more Stay Human (during commercials) and always strive to hear every note from every guest, but it has been a L O N G time between hearing any actual MUSIC! Not only do these folks make music, but it was MUSIC THAT BLEW ME AWAY!

I don’t know the musical terms for it, but this music reminds me of my parents’ old lps, with swing bands, and lyrics with internal rhyme. Lovely voice.

Woah...I was like hey that's homegirl (Rachel Price) from Lakestreet Dive...then goes to then I saw the trumpet (Jon Lampley), and I was like hey he's from the Huntertones, and I just saw him play at a festival in March with O.A.R. then camera pans to the piano and I'm like is that Grammy Award winning Jon Batiste?! Start-studded band! Aweome!

I feel like one of the "in crowd;" I discovered her on New Year's Eve.
Just awesome! I love listening to these two. My father loved The Hot Club of France with Stefan Grapelli and Django Rheinhard so I grew up with this sort of jazz. Vilray has the style down pat with his own seasoning added, and Rachel is just a phenomenal singer.
I think there are only two bands right now that can do this. Just pick up a piece with minimal rehearsal and play from the sheet music with such passion. They are this band, and Chris Thile's band on Live From Here. I've watched Rachel & Vilray play with both and both results are fantastic. Thank you Stephen and Co for having them on, and thank you Jon for being such a great band leader.

This album will go down as a classic, even with everything Rachael's done with Lake Street Dive. Vilray's writing is that good, and of course Rachael just kills it.
I’m here after seeing them on the Jools Holland Hottananny NYE celebration on bbc in the U.K. I love these two. Racheal Price reminds me of the late Amy Winehouse. Just pure beautiful jazz ❤️. Wishing Racheal a safe delivery of her child.

Oh girl I’m so impressed with your vocals!!!! Great job on transitioning jazz and classical training into the popular stage. What a delightful band....and the jacket on that man. 6 out of 5 stars for this whole operation.
