In the future, you can add just one panel, set the logic input to connect to it, and then copy it around. As long as you paste the copy to a valid connection point, it'll retain the original block inputs.
I'm not even going to pretend I knew what you were doing. But you did prove the concept has some merit to it. Good job. It's rare you see content that's not brain rot these days. I'll subscribe to that!
Hey Yzuei, I thought it might be worth pointing out that the point of retroreflectors is to bounce as much light directly back to the observer/light emitter, like road signs do, which would make you super visible rather than invisible. What you've done is counter-illumiination, which is done by some squid and other sea animals (like the firefly squid en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Watasenia_scintillans) and is the process of producing light (especially coloured light) to blend into a bright background. This was experimented with during the second world war with technology called Yehudi lights (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yehudi_lights), but afaik is not in active use now.

Trailmakers should add a logic page for building. Like something you can access while in build mode to open specifically for that build and have it lay out like a circuit board. It would be huge to have a visual connection to see it do it's thing. It could even have a test run to see it work before putting it in the build.
I love this idea. Logic was so difficult for me for the longest time because of the lack of visualization. I adapted and just use lights to know when specific things are happening, but LBP2 had me spoiled with how easy they made Logic Gate usage.
that's a cool concept but that's not what retroreflective panels are, retroreflective means it returns light back where it came from, it's what they use in road signs to make them so reflective
id make a suggestion to do a video of a derby, it was very fun seeing the last one, but you could increase the block limit and make a bigger build, like big trucks derby or something
they bounce the light that hits them right back to its source which is why road signs and the grey construction vest stripes get super bright when you shine light at them. If that thing actually used them it would be the least stealthy thing in existence especially if the coating worked on radar too. The mirrored ones look very weird and not at all like what you have there, still interesting premise.
Couldn't you get the same effect by just using a few hinges with blocks attached on the outside? And then stick the panels on those blocks again. I think the build would look almost the same, but far less complexity. Anyway, cool plane ;)
Imagine finding out that retro reflectiveness literally has in its name that it reflects the light back to its sender making it practically a huge mirror in the sky
what if you made Something like Scrapmans orbital canon, but with those retro reflective Panels to make it invisible. Almost like a alian flying saucer.
You do not need all those hinges. You only need 1 and connect it to a straight piece and put the panels on this. You would cut the piece count in half.
This is not what retro reflection is... It's actually like those road signs that light up from further away than the surrounding area. (Technology Connections has a video on it) Still a good video though!
Retro reflective panels are not what is in the video, retro reflectors is the defenition of anti stealth, bouncing ALL radar beams back to the emmitter exactly, that’s why they are used on street signs and bikes, what is in the video is called active camouflage, using cameras and displays to display an image through the object
Imagine not being able to do those hyper specific outputs since you play on xbox (and yes trailmakers is on xbox) the lowest output you can get on xbox version is 0.10, and the smallest angle on a hinge Is 5° which is really annoying sometimes.
I tried to do something like this inn stormworks, but the sky color appears darker when you are flying high than when you are on the ground, and im not sure how far the screen renders. So i didnt finished it

That’s a really nice rendition of this concept! Seems like you had to compensate a little on the realism of the flying as well XD

For the multi-player sessions with ScrapMan and the gang; make an invisible car, turn off names and play hide and seak with rockets!
And turn off auto-aim or turn it down a lot.
I'm not even going to pretend I knew what you were doing. But you did prove the concept has some merit to it. Good job. It's rare you see content that's not brain rot these days. I'll subscribe to that!

They need to add a sort of colour sensor that converts colours into a signal strength so you can go camouflaged automatically with the light displays
Aswell as distance/speed sensors outputting the distance/speed
@@shoppingcart69420 more like an option that says "output raw" or something on the normal ones
Could be a fun idea for the next Big Update. :)
No, to much lag

Yup. The concept Yzuei is executing is a variation on active camouflage
Biggest radar signature known to man.
This is super cool, you and Scrapman should do a challenge where you build planes with these and then have a stealth plane vs aa gun pvp
id make a suggestion to do a video of a derby, it was very fun seeing the last one, but you could increase the block limit and make a bigger build, like big trucks derby or something

I think this is a really cool concept and was done really good, i still cant believe someone has done this!
It would be really cool if you used the reflective panels to make a colour changing Chameleon Mech.
Yo yzuie keep up the good work i love these videos ❤❤❤
Life is good when Yzuei uploades!
A brave try, but might still lose to flying in Space in a Spaceship painted entirely Black, Chromed, and glowies left outta the design.
This thumbnail should gets you a tons of views, expect if the algorithm gods aren't on your side
You should try doing a dual fuel/ammo dogfight with Scrapman and some others.
Ok you serious? 3000 complexity? WHERES OUR UPDATE FOR XBOX HUH?!
Idea: make the same thing, but it´s a ground vehicle that is invisible to aircraft.
Couldn't you get the same effect by just using a few hinges with blocks attached on the outside? And then stick the panels on those blocks again. I think the build would look almost the same, but far less complexity. Anyway, cool plane ;)
"In retrospect, it seemed like a good idea."
amazing! could've used a lot less steering hinges though.
yeah def, but its a cool idea
and pistons lol..
Then it looks way worse
love the video. edit: more like the idea of the video. i havent had time to watch it yet lol
YOO SHOUT-OUT TO WHEMPLAR!!
Yeah I was just about to comment saying that whimper did this first
*whemplar
he shouted him out
Saw the same vid on my feed lol, cant wait to watch this
cool vid idea .............I need to use that tech
You can make a short range radar with hue panels and distance sensors
For space camo paint neon collorable light all blacked out and glass pane, it will reflect the stars and sky so you dissappear
Every radar system within 2half a cubic radian of where you're flying that plane:
"Why is the empire state building in the air?"
Sick build as usual, I just wished the hue blocks weren’t so complicated- i can’t figure out how to do repeating patterns with em
Yuizie man i cant wait to see this vid edit: I loved it
round fuselage? yzuei thats illegal! its a block game!
yeahh new video !
Next with a suit of armour around the world
This is the earliest I’ve been :D
you should do some monster trucks with scrapman
I would use an accumulater so you can adjust the colour on the go
Something like this in a dogfight with no name tags would be brutal
Keep up the good work
7:24 I tried this with my naval battleship and it crashed, just thought I'd share.
as i said, i watched it haha. Good Video!

hey Yzuei, authentic factual response or mischievous challenge?
what if you made Something like Scrapmans orbital canon, but with those retro reflective Panels to make it invisible. Almost like a alian flying saucer.
Ah yes, good ol' render distance being a killjoy once again...
Yuzie your going great better than scrapman

i need to see what happens when you give all those steering hinges their default A-D binds
Its much easy paint the plane black
(But please yzuei paint the plane black and put some panels White and go at night ) :)
Could you make a build battel against scrapman building a sailboat from the Americans cup and then race it on the high seas map?
Yooo my boi whemplar
The thing is that Whemplar put them on every single block on his jet
This is not what retro reflection is...
It's actually like those road signs that light up from further away than the surrounding area.
(Technology Connections has a video on it)
Still a good video though!
It would be so cool if helicarriers were possible
for making the bottom curved why not just connect the panels in lines and then use like 2 hinges per line to angle them?
Try making Minecraft in Trailmakers
That type of tech is based one the abilities of sharks
I tried something like this in non moded trailmakers by painting the whole build white chrome since it just turns it into a mirror
I know of yzuei from scrapman
You should put the panels on the sides to.
Day 1 of Asking Yzuei to do a battle with Stealth Fighter jets(No nicknames)
just wait until he hears about the saturation and brightness settings on the light panels
That one plane that got destroyed in a fight of Vulture and Spider-Man:
So cool!~
So do a dogfight of this or battleship version of it
im pretty sure in real life the military is experimenting with this i think

Well, gonna have to boot Trailmakers up again...
Whats up with yzuei using yugioh master duel music in the intro. I mean i love it but it is making me wonder if he is a duelist
I am a duelist!
Build an f117 nighthawk with that
Sick 😮

Couldn’t you just use one hinge and two 1x4s and put the lights on them to save complexity?
The most tanky build cuz if you break it your game crashes😂
Can you put this on the workshop or is it already on it / not going on it?
thannck thanck i have ask for this soo many time thanncks

I saw a smaller youtuber do this. It was very janky lol
I tried to do something like this inn stormworks, but the sky color appears darker when you are flying high than when you are on the ground, and im not sure how far the screen renders. So i didnt finished it
Can you do a video on how to build a helicopter or a walker in the new update
with all due respect, two to three hrs aint that long. at least for detailed builds
I need more war thunder streams
Hm could you use a the new blocks to switch between the two inputs?
Does form matter when the function is invisibility?
it does when the function doesnt work
Well, you can paint it too 😅
Ehh yooo no mask yzuei ?? When did this happen
Yuzei i have a question for you. how i do a center tail on a simple plane? Please
Sorry. Is on ps4 please respond
How did you make the pack of saved vehicles?
Or just make the material of the plane turquoise chrome?????
Make the plane the same color and its invisible
Can you play hide and seek and every minute you shoot a flare a move
can you try make the heli carier
