I must say, you do a good job showing and explaining each step you are taking with the build. Also, it is not that most people watching can't build a car. They can learn to do just about anything watching RUclips videos. It's that most people aren't willing to put forth the effort necessary to complete a build like you are doing. I know, I am one of them.
Courtney Try to think of Prep Time as Break Time Cause you know you have to Slow Down to do it ! Body work Prep is SLOW too But you do an Amazing Job of it
Try turning your gas up a few psi when welding over the primer and/or use a heat gun to preheat the surface. I've had the same issue you are having and that's what worked for me
@ThePaintPaperHustle you do great work and I enjoy watching. I've beat my head against the wall on stuff like that, so if I can help someone else the same as others have helped me it's the least I can do. Good luck
I agree, it's the POR. That stuff forms a black oxide layer to seal out the rust. But in this case it's creating a barrier preventing weld penetration. Kind of like mill scale. Hold off on that stuff until you're done welding.
Courtney , what is the brand of black cylindrical magnetic light you are using on the plymouth build ? Is it rechargeable LED ? Where to purchase & approximate cost ? Like you videos.
Theres contamination still n the panel, possibly underneath/inside..gota get it hot n keep grinding away..if u tig it, the contamination comes to the surface and u can wire wheel/grind it away n lay another bead over top
10 percent my opinion only great seeing you and Harper spending quality time a great day with the family is awesome 💯
Thanks buddy ❤️

Yes it is all that. It’s from Harbor Freight
@@ThePaintPaperHustle Thank you very.much. Cant wait to view the finished product. Its been mind blowing.
@gregelliott5066 thanks so much for watching buddy and you’re very welcome
Courtney how much do you think the tire will grow when it is mounted to the rim and air pressure in it?
None at all hardly. Remember we already mounted one up. And 2x4 puts tire about 1” higher than it actually will be when laid out

Interesting thanks
Yes 5-8% original car left.
