- Emotion-packed design, sporty character and innovative technology: Audi is targeting a new market segment with the A7 Sportback. The large five-door model with the dynamically accentuated rear end brings together the best of three worlds: the sporty elegance of a coupe, the comfort of a sedan and the practicality of a station wagon.
The A7 Sportback is pure high-tech. Its body is very lightweight thanks to numerous aluminum components. The elegant interior shows a craftsman's level of workmanship. The four V6 engines combine refined power with groundbreaking efficiency. The 3.0 TDI with 150 kW (204 hp) and multitronic has CO2 emissions of just 139 grams per kilometer (223.70 g/mile). The sporty chassis comes with new solutions, such as electromechanical power steering. When it comes to assistance and infotainment systems, the luxury-class coupe exhibits all of the innovative power expected of Audi.
The five-door coupe from Audi combines supreme, long-distance comfort with a sporty character. The interior noise level is very low even at fast highway speeds, with the V6 engines providing refined acoustic feedback as their power unfolds.

Sublime styling on the bodywork and interior. Audi did another awesome car which is very close to their concept version. RS7 version I think will be astonishing.

Can't wait for reviews on the rear seat headroom. That sloping roofline reminds me of the old 70's GM/Oldsmobile Cutlass Coupe designs.
I really like this trend of coupe shaped sedans like the Mercedes cls, Volkswagen cc and now the Audi A7! ^_^

Son couple de 500 Nm obtenu dès 1 400 tr/min permet d’évoluer sur un filet de gaz et d’éviter à ce bloc de trahir son mode de carburation. Et même quand il se fait entendre, c’est pour émettre une sonorité pas désagréable pour un diesel. (French)

It looks great with the aggressive front and the cut rear! It has much to do with concept car and nothing with any other car design except the A5 Sportback! I like that the supercharged V6, used in the S4 and S4, isn't used in the A7 as an engine for an S model!...hopefully Audi puts a V8 bi-turbo in the S7...
The interieur is very nobel and offers a lot of space! Great car!

@legendaer - It's computer-generated. There are a few small shops that specialize in high-quality product renders for the car business. They are slowly becoming the norm for catalog detail shots and raw footage like this. I met with one shop a couple years ago who are doing almost all of Ford's renders for catalogues instead of pro photographers. It wouldn't surprise me if this was also their work. Pretty amazing stuff.

@EdwardTINY Don't get me wrong kid, its just reality of industry. My family has been with Audi and buying Audi cars since 1980. So yeah i am MASSIVE AUDI FAN SUPPORTER OWNER, and why not cars are absolutely top notch Mercedes as well, BMW here and there.

@liwaste ...the LED lights were a great idea...as were other design ideas thru the years...tail fins, hidden headlights, chrome bumpers, woodgrain, running boards....
Years ago, changes were slower in coming....manufacturers would stick with an idea for many years before moving on, perhaps because there were fewer choices.
Today, design changes happen at a much quicker pace. We saw the wedge shaped cars turn into egg-shaped cars in just a few years.
Let the others copy.......then move on

Audi innovative space frame Audi A8, TT, R8 Caterham 7, Ferrari 360, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. now even BMW is wanting to jump in 2011 BMW M5 F10 will get an aluminum spaceframe chassis for the front section of the vehicle., Porsche 935 K3, winner of the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans body parts aluminium space frame, not to mention other ones.

Audi is under of ownership VW the greatest and the biggest car company out there today, Audi major player of VW and does all its productions on its own it has nothing to do with VW in that regards, private company subsidiary of Volkswagen unlike BMW owned through shares and no heritage like Audi or Mercedes.

I'm not a hater, but the design is boring. Pretty much all Audi are boring. But they are very solid so I see why you would buy one. Not that I would but hey, we're all having different taste. I do however like the Nav system, it sure looks awesome.
