It is inspiring to watch Kaori dance. I am not a tall dancer either but I realized by watching her dance the advantages petite dancers have. You are more agile and refined to each movement and more in tune with certain classical roles (ie the 16 year old Aurora). I am so glad to see a ballet company that is open-minded to all physical attributes of dancers and recognize their unique strengths.
So inspiring indeed, and i LOVE the fact all the principals in this video look so healthy!!! and they all seem to humble and down to earth, so refreshing :) i will now plow thru every video from PNB i can find :D
