Hi Tim! Thanks for the video! I have a question about the ‘encoding’ phase. Should I be waiting while the video gets encoded and processed or I don’t need to wait for that? Also, would you recommend me to upload in mp4 or mov? Thanks!!
You’re very welcome. Thanks for posting your question. So once you’ve uploaded your video, make sure you click SAVE (Kajabi prompts you to do this anyway) and then you can navigate away from the page. You don’t have to wait for it to process and finish encoding. Kajabi also supports a lot of different media file types, but it’s recommended to use MP4. Hope this helps. 🤓
You’re welcome Dave. Great question. So Kajabi uses Wistia for all their video hosting and they have an 8GB video file size limit. So you might have to split your 12GB video into two smaller ones. You can always try it? I have never tried uploading a video this large. Alternatively, you could try compressing your video before you upload it with something like HandBrake. Hope this helps. 🤓
@@timpeakman thanks for getting back... appreciated. I have researched a better solution... Searchie offers 25g and up to 12 hours video upload size. And it is a lot cheaper per month than Kajabi. So will take the searchie path instead.

Thanks for the video... is there a limit on the size of the file you upload to Kajabi. I have some long videos that are 12gig. Cheers
