I personally have been using the wa 87 r 2 for a year now and i did not regret my purchase😁 and also i have been waiting for this comparison for a long time and i wanna thank you for that🔥 Personally i find the wa 87 quite boomy and warm (LOL) and it clashes with many instruments in a big mix so if i were to use the wa 67 it would be too much warmth for me😅. However both mice are insane and you prolly wont go wrong with any cuz with a lil EQ touch would be perfect! Once again I love the content man! 🔥🔥
The WA67 sounds more natural, elegant, and effortless. With having a more euphonic quality, as well as the additional parts, the cost difference is certainly justified.

Idk, the 67 sounds a bit dull compared to the 87R2. The warmth is nice but the WA-47 does it better. I've used a U67 pretty extensively and the WA-67 definitely falls short. $7000 vs $900 so not a big surprise there. The WA-87R2 is a much closer fit to a U87 though. Again for a fraction of the price. That top end sparkle would help it cut through a mix.
Its hard to hear the bass response with these vocals, but seems the 67 is warmer in the midrange and the 87 brighter top. Would depend on the voice, 67 on female and 87 on male, depending on the voice qualities. I would take a TLM over any of these tbh
The both of those you have are about a pretty as a traffic sign in a jam, and I feel that chrome on the 67 just make is worse.. the Case, but not beautiful..hardware from the dollar store, but yea its ok.. I was doing ok with the 87R2 until you mention the Newmann 102 might be better..dang it now I'm back on the search! (I'm not impressed with the TLM102)..but I like the TLM103 alot (if it only had a low end roll off filter)

I would go with the 102… it’s untouchable for the price 💪🏻 you can get a one second hand one on eBay for a great price 👌🏻
