    Nothing will ever come close to the style and look of a square nose. Neither will the feel of sitting in the cab cruising down the highways.

      Jose Oquendo They are economical. I know drivers getting upwards of 9 when they’re loaded and it’s in a long nose pete! That’s deleted, turned up and tuned. Even Freightliner was good til they did away with the FLD classic. I run a 379, I pull mountains and the truck is turned up. Getting decent mpg when I’m loaded. Sometimes more then the guys who drive Aerocabs

    1999 379. 3406. 18 spd. 290 inch. Wb. Ultra cab. 2.5 million miles on it. Still ridin and guidin. Rollin and strollin. Just as it did new. Still air tight. Still stylin and profilin. Other truck won't last 5 yrs. Yes it sucks fuel. But your maintenance and replacing plastic fairings and computer issues I will still come out on top. Plus I dont have to buy a new truck every 3-5 yrs. I'll just keep it. Lol.

    • @kman-mi7su
      @kman-mi7su 5 лет назад

      I don't own a Pete but I do own a 94 Mack CH and 60 in sleeper that I bought new and still run today. I concur about coming out on top and not buying a new truck every 3-5 years. Just make sure if you do keep any truck as long as we have, take care of it and don't drive it like you stole it. Finally, don't be shocked when you have to spend money on it over the years because things do wear out. Overall in my case and I'm betting yours, if you do the math and maintain it right, it is cheaper to keep her in some cases. 2.3 million on her, I do however have to fight back the urge to buy a new truck because my mind keeps telling me "hey man you deserve it! treat yourself".

Should have that auto, shove it right up his ass crossways. before I had my heart attack I drove a truck with an automatic had nothing but trouble. Call enough material that way too much for it. when you get into town and stopped at a red light you would damn lucky that sumbitch decided to move again. I was going around Pittsburgh Pennsylvania when the transmission locked up on with me and wouldn't come out of second gear. Hate and automatic in a semi truck. You ever notice how when they got something good and it works a 10 to turn around and fuck it up after that. Nothing good ever comes out of all this shit. Have a good week. 😀👍🍺

      @White Wrathdude that's awesome that your from AUSTRALIA....I remember seeing a few atiksons when I was there....1983-84 if I recollect correctly...saw some white road bosses too....I remember asking father why the steering was on the other side.....great memories....does anyone still run atikson or are they still made?

    • @ALL-bj7mj
      @ALL-bj7mj 5 лет назад

      @White WrathLOL....my father always agreed with Australia....when we rented a car he drove with no problems, while mother refused.....when you think about it, the Americas, Canada and mexico are the unusual ones....left hand steering? I dorve a retired mail jeep Cherokee owned by my buddy....I like it on the right side.

      They already have one. It’s the 567. Just like the W990, it’s a set forward axle version of a current model. It’s already been out for what 2-3 years. Where the W990 is nothing but a T680 with the axle set forward, the 567 is a 579 with the axle set forward.

      The W990. Will put the W900 out to pasture. These old style style trucks are too outdated. When I get ready my 06 379 will be traded off on a W990

      Multiple industry sources. I wish I could release the rest of the details. We will be creating a video all about the end of the 389 and it’s replacement (or lack of) soon. Lots of speculation but end of production has been confirmed. However, they originally said 2020 and pushed it back to 2021. Will they push it to 2022? Good question.
